should I take Isentress again at 7;30 am so that I maintain the 7:30am/7:30pm timeline for Isentress? The pharmacist and lots of online resources stressed the importance of taking the pills on time each time.
How does one know if they are a candidate for smart lipo on the abs or tummy tuck? 3 out of 4 doctors thought I could get by with smart lipo. on the stomach area. I'm having my flanks (back) and hips smart lipo-ed. Doesn't smart lipo tighten the skin somewhat?? The fat cells remain after a tummy tuck, don't they? With smart-lipo, they are removed. Wouldn't the lipo make more sense if one should gain weight?

I had a risk exposure and had a base hiv test 4th gen ab/ag 25 hours after pep or after 2 truvadas and 3 isentress. Could this affect the negative result of the base test? Is the base test considered conclusive? The only risk exposure is no longer since the other party hiv test was negative and the exposure was low risk.

Hi, after being exposed to HIV 15 days ago, I'm on day 14 of PEP (Truvada & Isentress). I wonder if facial lipoatrophy (sunken cheeks, temples, eyes, etc) can develop as early as two weeks of being taking these meds. I'm a male model and I make a living of my face. Last week I was fired from 3 photo-shoots in a row. I don't know if I'm really experiencing facial fat waste, or if my face just reflects all the emotional distress I've been through for the past 2 weeks.

I just started the lipo b12 shots almost two weeks ago. I started having severe back pain and was told at er that i had a kidney infection. I dont drink pop could this be the lipo shots? I had a sexual encounter and they have put me on truvada and isentress for 4 weeks. It is one week over but I have very bad stomach. I usually have a chronic gastritis due to helyco bacter that I have not managed so far to get rid of.
My doctor said I could take Nexium 20 which is my usual medication for this matter but to try no to take it everyday beacaus of interaction with isentress but he is gone on vacation now and I have a really upset stomach and I dont know what to do.

I went to my plastic surgeon in regards to a tummy tuck. He said I could do either a full tummy tuck with Lipo or an extended tummy tuck with Lipo. I'm not sure if I need the extended tummy tuck. Pictures for reference.

PEP is very effective - it should be three drugs -- typically two medications Truvada + Isentress. Mass had a 2 year study where no one on PEP got infected.
Hi,I had smart lipo done on my lower abdomen in march,aug,and sept.At my first consult the doctor noticed an umbilical hernia and told me it would need to be fixed before my smart lipo.At the consult i pointed out to him a large hole in my c section scar and asked if that was a hernia.He said no so i had smart lipo.At each follow up i was concerned about the large swollen protrusion on my lower left side.The doctor kept saying it was swelling and would go away.

Actually, I now have rolls of fat and indentations, I never had before. I am even more upset about my body now. He used Smart Lipo and I believe tumescent Lipo. I went back after 4 mos, and he agreed he needed to do more and scheduled surgery for 6 mos out. My question is this, should I even go through with this? I really don't think he can do the job. He is new to the lipo business and he didn't even have an explanation! Can I ask for a refund, and go to someone else?
Can plastic surgery and lipo "bring" on fibro? I was diagnosed about a year after surgery and jut realized that maybe there was a connection?????? My pain though isn't just where the lipo was performed, it's all over.....
Hello - I understand that oral with a person who is HIV+ is low risk, but would it be a good idea to take PEP anyway? My concern is the side effects of the Isentress and Truvada combination. I have the medication, but if infection is very highly unlikely, I think I shouldn't. Friends are telling me not to worry and doctor says it is up to me (which I know). Opinions?
