My 16 month old son has done this rocking motion since he could sit up. He does it anytime he is in a comfortable chair or couch, and he also does it in his high chair, causing it to move all over the kitchen at times. Everything else about him is normal, but this is just odd to me. It's like a comfort thing to him. He really does it alot when he's watching tv too. please help.
Sometimes it's not just motion sickness, it's a combination of nerves and excitement over being in the car combined with a touch of motion sickness.
First of all, I would put a t-shirt on him. This will keep him from drooling and spitting all over himself in the car. Put down an old blanket or a large towel on the seat to keep him from soaking the seat with drool. Then start taking him for rides.
after eating or daily i am passing the my motion 3 to 4 times and some times it will go up to 5 times, Because of this my legs are getting tired very often.
I had major motion sickness especially in a moving vehicle when I was 19weeks! Lol it was terrible, I would get so mad at BD for every little turn he made Lol.. it does go away and I was so happy when it did, I would avoid leaving the house unless I absolutely HAD to go somewhere, I just hybernated myself Lol.

I just recently took a long plane trip(6 hours time difference) and since returning I have had debilitating motion sickness plus horrible anxiety. I am on day 6 of this. Could this be hormones? I am 51 years old and haven't had a period in 7 months. I don't know what to do. I can not function because I am quite dizzy and feel sick to my stomach. I am considering making an appt with a neurologist. Help!
I have MANY symptoms that go on (see other posts) but one that really concerns me is that sometimes as I am going about whatever I am doing, I get a feeling like I am suddenly in slow motion. Like I have to force my body to keep doing what I'm doing - putting things in a filing cabinet, pressing the gas pedal in my car, pushing a cart down the aisle in the grocery store, etc. It only lasts about 2-5 seconds but is very strange and alarming. Sound familiar to anyone?

So I was talking to my bf today about being sick, because I have been out of "gravol" or motion sickness pills for a couple of days. he was pretty shocked to hear that I have been taking between 4 and 10 everyday for that past 3-4 years. I explained that if I don't take them I feel sick and actually vomit (as I had been all morning today).

Anyways, starting this summer, I started to feel more and more week when I go onto buses, cars, skytrains/subway, and generally anything that really shakes me. I've had this problem before and it's always been there, but I've always thought of it to be normal because I thought that I was born this way and it really doesn't effect me much because I barely had much motion sickness before.
my grandaughter is 4 months old and has just begun rice cereal mixed with breast milk. For 3 days she passed nothing and on the fourth day she had a bowel motion shaped like a cricket ball which was extremely painful for her and caused anal fissures. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this from happening again?
