Avatar m tn is it telling to stop injectable medication because it's contaminated of bacteria??
Avatar m tn You have to discuss the best treatment option with a neurologist, which can range from medication to steroid injections to physiotherapy to traction, cervical collars or even surgery. Alternatively you can visit a chiropractor or a physical therapist and learn some exercises which you can do to relieve the compression, but consulting a neurologist is a must. Use a hard bed to sleep. Avoid a pillow.
Avatar m tn My daughter had similarly confusing symptoms. It turned out to be related to a dislocation in her neck and lower torso. The dislocations caused all sorts of neurologic problems. Because of her condition my daughter was a semi-invlaid from ages eight to 12. It was very sad. When I first brought her to the hospital (following a three-day headache and sore eyes). I told the doctors I thought it was the result of a minor accident some months previously.
Avatar f tn Last year i went to a neurologist because i was gettin very bad head aches he than had me get a mri and on the mri showed uncomman white spots as my neurologist said, he than had me go 6 months later for another mri and it appeared that 2 more spots showed up and there were 2 that i already had that had gotten alittle bigger in size than what they were, what does this mean and what do i do
Avatar m tn sorness and pain to one spot on top of head right hand side for 2 months I have neck problem could this be caused from that
Avatar m tn it sounds like a blood pressure issue to me,go to your doctor to get it checked out
Avatar f tn I was trying to feel my cervix to see if any dilation change or what not. And baby's head is down and infront of my cervix which is still very posterior ughh. But I'm hoping since baby's head is down it'll speed things up. It was like a hard mass under the tissues near my cervix.
212161 tn?1599427282 does anyone have the feelings they are just not in their body. or head I feel out of it , my head feels heavy and tingling .
Avatar n tn If there is none, there is nothing to be worried about. As Dame mentioned, the head is shaped differently and this can be brought about by how you were delivered when you were born. Take care and best regards.
Avatar f tn Please wait for the insurance and get it examined by a neurologist and surgeon. Please go for an MRI of the head to rule out a tumour. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
11302232 tn?1417722356 My head has been hurting all day. Do anyone know anything I can take ? It's starting to feel like a migraine.
Avatar f tn Headaches in pregnancy in combination with other symptoms such as high blood pressure for example can be a sign of serious disorders so you'd be wise to get checked out by your gp. On the other hand it could be that your pillow is contributing, the room is too warm, you're a bit dehydrated etc. But your gp should be your first point of call. Good luck, I hope it's all good.
Avatar f tn Started having sharp pains on the left side of my head around the temple area. Last about 2-4 minutes.
Avatar f tn i was hit in the head 5 days ago. and it is still feel pain on the side of the head that was hit. is this normal?
Avatar f tn It starts on the right side of his head he feels pain and it feels like the hair on the right side of his head is staticy, then his eye twitches and his vision blurs, then he feels pain and stiffness on the right side of his neck, and pain and tingling only on the right side of his body... What could cause this?
Avatar f tn It will not cause damage or cause significant loss of brain cells at all. Try to talk to this person not to hit you or anybody else's head because it is not a good practice.
Avatar f tn How many brain cells are lost from a hard hit to the head, for example, being hit on the head with a plastic lantern and not experiencing any severe symptoms? What is the maximum amount of brain cells that can be lost without affecting the memory or mathemtaics prowess?
Avatar m tn I am confused in that can the splitting of the skin could be considered a genital ulcer (I think from what I read) which seems to be a sign of hsv, however, my gp kind of blew it off and it is in a different location than the pimple and I thought most outbreaks were somewhat localized (shaft as opposed to the head) and there has been no changes to the raw spots (just seem to be healing without scabbing or blisters, etc...). Thanks again.
Avatar m tn Unprotected oral is low risk for STIs, of the bacterial STIs your main concerns are gonorrhoea and NGU. The feeling of irritation straight after the oral was from being too rough as STI symptoms don't appear this soon. I don't think this is STI related but could be more to do with your anxiety and guilt over the exposure. If irritation continues I'd return to the doctor.
Avatar f tn 9 F or more, then this could indeed be a problem. The only way to know if it is viral or you need an antibiotic is for the doctor to run some blood tests to see if your body is fighting off any illnesses. But also if you are on osteoporosis medications currently, the medication you are taking could be causing your symptoms.
Avatar f tn First of all you should get your blood pressure checked. It is possible that due to injury to your head when you fell down, there is bump on that area. You must be having some G.I. disturbance like indigestion because of which you are having continuous vomiting. There is no obvious reason for nasal bleeding at this time, you are right you should go to hospital and get your self examined and have second opinion.
944787 tn?1287084773 four weeks ago banged her severely causing it to bleed and had a huge egg she was not with me when this happened and was not taken to emergency but when i got her back i took her to out local G.P. who checked her over and said she was fine... but ever since her head accident she has complained of headaches even after i have given her paracetamol.. do you think i should take her to hospital/doctors to have her rechecked.
Avatar f tn Meanwhile, try washing your hair with hypoallergenic shampoo or maybe baby shampoo, lathering and rinsing several times.
Avatar f tn He has a headache at all times, but they range from 1 to 10, 1 being a dull ache he can ignore and 10 being he needs to go to the emergency room. On an average day he has about a 4 or 5. When he has an 8, 9, or 10 he can hardly function.
