Hello Ladies,
I am considered very high risk for Ovarian Cancer (family history), so my doctors have recommended a hysterectomy. They actually didn't have to recommend it, I was going to ask for it, if I had to! I am 42 years old with no real signs of menopause. My oncologist said I could wait a bit for the surgery if I wanted to get a bit closer to menopause to try to shorten the possible time on hormone supplements (if needed). That discussion was about 8 months ago.
I had a hysterectomy in 2001. I was on estrogen for about 5 years. I stopped taking them in fear of cancer. Since that time, I have taken many different kinds of OTC herbal remedies to stop the hot flashes, night sweats, moodiness, headaches and especially the weight gain. Nothing seems to help. I have gained 40 lbs since 2001 and I honestly can say I do not eat more than I did then, nor am I a junk food addict. I am cautious of what I eat...but nothing helps my problem.
I have owned and rode horses all my life. I am having difficulty coping with not being able to ride because ppl told me I cant. Is it seriously that big a deal to ride? I don't want to hurt my baby, but it's literally the only thing I have done for myself and can't deal with giving it up for so long...
Am 27 years old I have had 7 surgery my last one was for a hysterectomy on May 9th 2018.. I want to know if it's normal to have lower back pain and my calves to feel like charlie horses..
On Jan 16 i had a severe panic attack. I have been in treatment for depression since i had a Hysterectomy 3 years ago. 2 weeks after my panic/anxiety attack i have had severe muscle twitching through the whole body BP has been elevated. Most of the time my legs feel to weak to even hold me up from a sitting position. is this all in my head but even my family has noticed weightloss the bruising and felt my twitches.
Have you tried talking to someone about some of your problems. A good friend, your pastor would be great as sometimes our view points are not what they really are. I have been learning alot about myself by going to counselling along with the thyroid meds etc. I have found that a lot of the things that I believed about myself were lies that I picked up over the years. As I realize the truth it is freeing me to view my life in a more positive manner.
I am currently 29 weeks and 4 days, and for the past 2 weeks I've been having charlie horse cramping in my calves that wake me up out of my sleep. They are very painful... and I was wondering if any other moms out there ever had this happen to them. I called my doctor and they ordered some tests stat.
I am 32 weeks and now I am getting really bad charley horses. Do any one else has this problem how do you solve it?
Having horses for many years I am certain it's fly allergies.You can put a fly mask on him during the day and take it off at night. If you are boarding have the care taker feeding the horses take it off for you and put it on in the mornings if your not there. In his morning grain you can give him benadrill about 4 pink pills once in the morning with his feeding or evening if he eats grain in the evening hours.
Why is it that when pregnant you get more charlie horses that hurt ten times worse then when your not Pregnant? And how the heck do I get rid of it cause I burst into tears now everytime I get them.
Last night I kept waking up with a charlie horse more then once in both legs n now my legs are really really sore. What can I do to stop these damn Charlie horses?
I'm 26 weeks and every night for the last week or two I've been waking myself up in the middle of the night with a Charlie horse in my leg. Then I usually fix it but then a bit later it'll be my other leg. I know it's not a dietary thing because I take my prenatals everyday and usually drink an organic juice cleanse that has 100% of daily fruits and vegetables in it. Has any one else experienced this while pregnant and know why?
At night when I stretch or randomly I will get the worst leg cramps where I cry and it won't go away for like 15 seconds. Any one else have this problem, any splutions? I try to rub my leg better, but sometimes it doesn't work. Last pregnancy it happened as well, and I tried walking but that didn't go so well either.
I'm 34weeks 0days today and for some strange reason I keep waking up with very painful Charlie horses! Anyone knows why? It slips my mind every time I go to the doctor and I forget to ask her. Thanks.
Does anybody know why I get Charlie horses in my calf when I'm sleeping? Its only happened a few times but boy does it hurt!
Hello, I'm 17 weeks pregnant and this last week I have had more Charlie horses then ever. Like 5-6 in the last week, at night? Any suggestions as to what's causing these?
