Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.
Avatar n tn I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info.

Avatar m tn I had an urea breath test for helicobacter detection yesterday and when I got the first drink which is supposed to be a bitter liquid containing citric acid (just for the control drink), I noticed it tasted like simplle water till the last sip and then suddenly I tasted the powder of citric acid which was all in the bottom un-dissolved. Avatar m tn My father had the same skin tone and he never developed this sensitivity. I do take a number of supplements including Centrum, CoQ10, hyaluronic acid, fish oil, an aspirin and Lipitor. Only Lipitor has been long term and that does not appear to increase sunburn sensitivity (though rashes are possible). Is this a normal part of aging or are there other factors involved?

Avatar f tn Natural dog arthritis supplements offering your dog the correct amounts of Glucosamine, MSM, Chondroitan sulfate, Hyaluronic acid, Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin C will help to relieve your dogs arthritis pain and nourish his joints. I order my spices from Penzy's because they have the best spices anywhere. (* see note) Bok Choy is cabbage. It is an oriental cabbage that I really like rather than the big heads. I also steam cook this cabbage in kitchen basic chicken broth and a little spray of Braggs Amino Acid.

Avatar m tn , I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. So I decided to simply take hyaluronic acid orally on the off-chance, and have had no pain since. Could be a coincidence but it could also be worth a try. Readily available in capsule form from multiple sources.
Avatar n tn Genigel, the new treatment, contains hyaluronic acid - a sub-stance found in the connective tissues of the body. When applied to gums, it provides a sticky film in which new cells and blood vessels can grow." "A week later, the teeth began to firm up. A month later, I could chew on them. The gel has actually made my gums grow back, which is something no amount of brushing or anti-bacterial mouthwashes could ever do.
