How frequent I can take insulin Humulin 70/30. I am taking 25 unit before each meal some just before meal or sometime after meal.
Please advice how much I can take in a day ?
How much min duration between 2 intakes ?
I am taking Humulin-N but my sugar level every morning is around 225.

If it is just running out refill the prescription early 2 days. If you have Humilin R on hand I question how old it is. If more than 30 days it is probably expired anyway. I also question having this Insulin as it has been largely discontinued for use as better insulins are now available.
But the short answer is Novolog and Humlin R do not act in the same manner so substiuting can be very tricky and is probably not recommended.
ve been injecting Byetta for nearly two years (twice a day). My husband saw that there is a class action suit against the manufacturer because of side effects, damage to the pancreas. I did some reserch on line and found there are all kinds of side effects, damage to the kidneys, liver and G.I. issues. For the last year I have had IBS and now my blood sugar is climbing, (only my fasting). Needless to say I have quit taking the injections because I'm afraid it has caused these changes.
I had much better control when I was using humuln n and humulin r . I am now taking lantus and novolog .I have had to increase my dosages and am still having a hard time getting control of my blood sugars. My aic is 7.8 this quarter vs 8. last quarter. should I go back to using the older drugs that gave me better control?

I want to Thank You both fo your answers My dr took me off of novalin and put me on Humulin 15 units twice a day and it is working some what better I take the humulin like I did the Novalin 15 minutes before meals sugars are doing some better not running near as high as it was on the Lantus If I do not see any results in the next couple of weeks will ask to be referred to and endro

Thanks for the reply, But my concern is that duration of the actual play, that is intercourse. We do foreplay and cuddle and everything but when time comes to actuall intercourse, i am able to make 9 to 10 strokes and i am done. is it normal or it is very less. my wife conitnues with the motion and i just support her with my flacid pennis. is it normal, is it common in normal sexual experiace. Anyone out there had to go on insulin in pregnancy? This is my first baby since getting diabetes 4 yrs ago but scared of needles. Had miscarriage in feb just praying this don't happen again.
Hi, im 25 yrs old, i have had diabetes since i was 5 had it under control until turned 19 medical card got taken away from gov, thought I could keep it manageable but it's gotten way out of control all I want to do is drink(non alcohol) but not really water just like juice and stuff. Really hard to stop. Wat can I do?
