Hi, my co-worker, one of the very few people I have told about this Chiari thing to, came up to me today and said last night she saw a commercial on TV about Chiari - twice. Has anyone else seen anything like this? I can't watch TV much anymore because it causes really bad headaches so I really have no idea what is on out there. But I had never heard of Chiari until just a few weeks ago from searching up terms on my MRI report!

Do scary and I was reading on here and some lady said her sister died of a heart tumor and had every heart test and ended up dying because they never caught the heart tumor. Hi, I do not have a fibro or CFS dx, but have chronic Lyme which has a good amount of symptom overlap. While undiagnosed, I was treated with meds including Neurontin and Lyrica. I recently saw a new TV commercial for Lyrica. I've never liked these commercials as they seem to minimize the problem and severity of fibro by showing patients resuming active lives thanks to this medication. One I saw in the past depicted a woman working in a bakery.

I was layin in bed, watching tv and a commercial for kmart came on advertising joe boxer sleepwear. Most of the commercial was a group of like 5 pregnant women dancing, all i could think watching it was S C R E W THAT!!!!

So tonight especially while watching TV with my daycare kids and all the commercials for food are driving me crazy. I want all of it. Not only do we not have hardly any of the fast food restraunts but I am also broke right now but I am sure not dragging all 5 kids to get my cravings. i have crohn;s and have been in flare for almost a year (i know. crazy right) i was put on humira after the asacol made me feel awful once i was taken off the entocort. the humira made me REALLY REALLY SICK and still, 3 mos later, feel worse now than i did before i started taking it. a couple weeks ago the doc put me back on asacol and entocort. anyways... about 2 mos ago my skin started getting really REALLY bad.

Anyone taking humira and feel like they are sick coming down with a cold for a week after injection? Not a full blown cold but the start of one. I feel like this always and this is my 3rd dosage ( counting the starter kit), so I'm new to humira. I've noticed if I'm stressed, I'll even get a sore throat. I know humira suppresses your immune system but are you supposed to feel like you're coming down with something every injection or will this go away with time?

I've just had my 2nd injection of Humira today (on 20mg, 2x month). Both times I've had no energy and felt bad for about 12 hours after the injection. Anyone else have this type of reaction to the injection?

Of course it seems a lot of folks have the same questions you do after reading humira info online - found a lot of questions asking if humira causes herpes. If you already have herpes simplex, either orally or genitally, it could cause it to reactivate. Most people never get tested for herpes to know that they have it.

Hi monicaroni, I have been taking Humira almost 8 months. I take humira for Crohns Althougth reap the benefit for the AS. I am thinking that you probably had a concurrent infection brewing when you Started Humira. Good Luck managing your AS, I appreciate how difficult it can be with mobility issues, and treating pain.

My husband missed his dose of Humira by 24 hours a week ago. He is now vomiting regularly like he did prior to his diagnosis. Is this normal with a missed dose? He has been on Humira since September.

I just started Humira (2 shots so far) and have had a worsening of symptoms since the first shot. My hands/feet have become swollen and my joints hurt more than before I started taking the Humira. I also have systemic vasculitis (Churg-Strauss Syndrome) and am on Cytoxan and Prednisone, but I have been taking both for more than a year and know the side-effects from each.
