I was 18 with my first, as well. It is scary as hell, I know. But I just told them. It wasn't as bad, once I had said the words. I am not close to either of my parents, but they handled it well.

I'm 17, my last year in high school. Turning 18 next week, and Im 8 weeks. I didn't even know I was pregnant. I told my mom I was pregnant and now I need to tell my dad. But how??? My dad means the world to me and I'm scared to break his heart :( .. I'm due in may and I'm supposed to walk with ny class in June, will I be able to walk?? My mom was there for me b/cause she got pregnant with me at the age of 14. But why wouldn't my dad understand??
I don't know anything about your gf, but I know when I went through major surgery I pushed a lot of people away. My thought process on it was that I didn't want to cause them pain to have to see and deal with me when I had to go through with it all. Which is pretty stupid, but that was the idea I had. Maybe she could be in that mind frame, so giving her some time can help. After the ordeal is over things can go back to how it was before.
i didnt have a problem with this but because he lived with his parents i thought he would prefer coming to mine... anyway everyrime i went to his we had to sit and have dinner with his parents then sit with them or go up to his bedroom like teenagers.... more arguments started over petty things. Everytime we argued he would not talk to me for days giving me silent treatments. Or saying it was over. The last arguement caused him to end us for good. I was heart broken.
My ex-boyfriend and I were together for about 1.5 years. It was an amazing relationship full of love, communication, and mutual respect and support. We ended up splitting because of some issues related to his kids (whom I never met, because they were not open to meeting someone new, as their parents were newly divorced).
Hey I know all about being young and having to tell your parents that your pregnant. Yes they will b very mad at first but then they have to see how much they love you an you and your baby health is more important, an they will get over themselves .. There is no special way you can tell your parents that kinda news so its best just to say it..
I have a 3 yr old daughter and recently found out I'm a month pregnant.. Me and my boyfriend broke up after a huge fight..my parents don't want him in our lives..I moved to another state the same week which were our plans in the first place but now we won't even talk or text.. I love him dearly.. I miss him so much but it seems our relationship is over..I'm very depressed wishing and praying we can work things out..we said mean stuff to each other...
I know how you feel. It seems like this feeling will never go away and you cannot imagine yourself with someone else...what a bleak, depressing and dangerous feeling.
But please remember there is hope.
I know it's an old cliche but time really does heal...when I left my husband after 16 yrs. I was a mess. I missed my "old life" so much and I truly felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel.
Now being 18 and having a boyfriend that every one hates I would have never expected this. If you are having trouble telling your parents. I recommend the sooner the better. It could only help to have more support from your mommy. Good knows it took so much stress from mt shoulders. :) tell your parents girls.
So I broke up with my boyfriend after a somewhat rocky seven year relationship. The guy didnt treat me great. I often heard (mostly in rocky times) "your a ****** joke" and well he could yell for hours. Just couldnt calm down. There were lost of trust issues, compatibility issues but we were crazy about each other. We had so much history. So I persevered through the years with a positive outlook that has caused me palpitations and constant anxiety about the future.
I'm 25 and my fiancé and I have only been dating 7 months and I just found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant! How do I tell my parents who want me to finish school and wait until I get married and etc?
