I was given steroids which raised my eye pressure too high and did not work. It sometimes gets really red and hurts all of the time. I went to an opthamologist and and eye surgeon and no one has a cure. The glands in the inner corner of my eyes right below my brows have a little tiny round hard objects too. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?

I had temporary (week long) eye plugs put in my eyes due to dry eyes along with Pataday once a day eye drop for eye allergies. My eyes plugs were put in on Wednesday afternoon. How long does it take for the plugs to work, I mean my eyes aren't burning like before, but they're still somewhat red. I don't know if it's cleared a little, but I don't see a big difference. How long before my eye plugs clear up my dry eyes.

Pataday is for allergy. While I cannot give you an exact diagnosis the most common problem by far is contact lens related problem not dry eye which is extremely rare in a male age 18. Generally it means your contacts are not fitting, you are not wearing them properly or disposing at correct interval or have developed a problem called GPC (giant papillary conjunctivitis).
you will need to work through this with whomever fits your contact lens.
My 18 year old daughter spent the last 4 months weening off Pristiq and now feel she really needs something for depression and anxiety. So my question, how long to start feeling the effects of Zoloft? She is starting at 50 mg for a week then moving up to 100mg. Any information would be helpful.. If you are planning on working after you have the baby, it is good to work for as long as possible before the baby comes. here's why--- that time you take off counts toward your short term disability and the family medical leave. There are maximum days associated with both of those and you'd be using them to have the baby early. I worked until close to my due date with my first taking a few vacation days.

The doctor prescribed me Lotopred, Ikul, Systane ultra eye drops for every four hours a week and said not to wear lenses for 10 days. I followed the instructions and my eyes got back to normal.
Hi. I was wondering if i could use Pataday if i have ocular herpes? Are there any risks that i should be aware of when using Pataday?
Need second opinion: My story (quick version): Have been suffering from conjunctivochalsis for 4.5 yrs. Now my cornea is also affected: Keratoconus and Coguns Corneal Dystrophy. Recently a syst has formed in the corner of each eye. Can't tell if it has added to already existing discomfort. Have beenn Restasis, Alrex , Pataday and now Muro ointment.
I was diagnosed with GPC 2 months ago and I've been using Tobradex for two months. My Opthamologist says my lids look better, but there is still some allergen there. He told me that I need to stop taking the Tobradex because apparently it's not good to take it for a long period of time. I've stopped taking it and my eyes are back to feeling awful. They didn't feel 100% back to normal on the Tobradex, but it helped!
I sugegst you to use acular eye drops to get rid of dry eyes & it helps to improve eye vision.
