Runnning nose and watery eyes and i have taken levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg... it seems better but my head has become heavy after taking the medicine..
please advice and can i take steam ?
what are the precautions that needs to be taken ?

Will Levocetirizine affect the outcome of the test in any way?

I just looked up your other drug, Levocetirizine. It is similar to Zyrtec which did absolutely nothing for me. It was like taking a sugar pill.
The itching and/or rash that we have is a drug reaction. We are still on the drugs (for as long as we have to treat). We do not have a bug bite or a contact allergy or poison ivy. We are reacting to the drugs that we have to keep taking.
She prescribed me levocetirizine. Its a newer allergy medication and supposively the best! Its class B which is in same caterogory as benedryl. I'm telling you I have been through 14 bottles of afrin and have not been able to go anywhere without my tissues. I have taken one so far and not one tissue today!
Tested positive for trich 3 times in the last few months. Took the Meds as perscribed along w/ husband the first time. A few weeks later I'm still positive so I take the flagyl again and no sex but after getting tested again a few weeks later the GYN said I was loaded with trich again but when the lab work came back it showed negative for trich. The Dr. Told me to take the flagyl for 3 weeks. I have no fowl smell and no odd discharge.
White lesions could be either pustules or ulcer. Is it on ur inner cheek or is it on the tonsil.
For burning throat, gargle with salt water immediately and keep doing it.
Take Montelukast+levocetirizine for 10 days one daily(0-0-1) preferably night.
take multivitamins and gargle with Tantum before food, betadine(1:5) and hydrogen peroxide(1:10) after food for three days. Take dichlo for pain relieving for 2 days(1-0-1).
If symptoms persist, rush to the ENT specialist.
Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

I've been allergic ever since I was a little boy and I've learned to live with that. My problem is that during the last couple of years, I seem to get more and more sensitive to the allergens that trigger my reactions, as well as more prone to have shortness of breath as a primary reaction!

I had to stop taking Mirtazapine last night as the side-effects I was getting from it are apparently rare and will not go away. I have already taken Citalopram, Sertraline and Mirtazapine for my anxiety but didn't get on with them. I have a phone appointment with my GP this evening and would feel better knowing I had an idea what medication might work best for me. I don't want to take Prozac or anything that will make sick/vomit, dizzy or mimic other anxiety symptoms.
He gave me penicillin kind of medicine for 1 week course and levocetirizine for allergies. It is now my 4th day of the treatment but still the same problem. I still have that "floating kind of feeling". I will just wait for the last day of taking my medicine then I am going back to him for follow up.
Hello Bridget, My Mom has been itching constantly,been to a dermatologist,has breast and lung cancer,has sores from chest,back,arms,stomach groin area,just sores,
infected looking sores from her constanly itching,breaking sores open,is on meds and creams from doctor and nothing helps,she's in a nursing home...what could be the cause or what else can be done for her?
Could somebody help me out? Is this something I should get checked? Or is just some insignificant rash that will pass?
Here's a little background info about me. I'm 22, Male, about 5'9" 215 lbs, and from the Philippines. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in 2007, and have been taking Methimazole (Tapdin) since and Atenolol (Therabloc) for about five months.
