Common Questions and Answers about How enablex works

enablex

1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn can someone please tell that which medicine works best for OAB ........VESICARE,ENABLEX OR DETROL LA..........I m male and 29 yrs old ,can i also take detrol la.....Any response should be highly appreciated..........
Avatar f tn I know we are all different and our reactions are different, I am just hoping it works without too many side affects. Urgency is not my greatest problem at the moment and it talks about that on the website for it but it's more my burning and spasms but the burning is the worse. B.T.W. I am on the 10mg. Cheers, Udkas.
Avatar f tn I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar n tn I have had several episodes of not being able to make it to the bathroom and have also wet the bed several times. My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.
569676 tn?1315641158 Below is an article explaining how and why suboxone works. This was written by Dr. Richard Gracer and is very well written in understandable terms. How Buprenorphine Works Buprenorphine (Subutex) is an FDA approved drug that is used to treat opiate (narcotic) dependence and prevent its relapse, to decrease the withdrawal symptoms when getting off opiates and in some specific circumstances to treat chronic pain.
Avatar m tn this when I had my post op Appt I never truely got an answer then I went back to her she gave me some Enablex that never truely help with the no sensation to urinate nor the having feeling when having sex can some one tell me what is going on?
Avatar f tn What you are describing is exactly how I felt. Peeing once if not more an hour. Pee, stand up, feel like I have more. Incredible urgency to pee. You give in to go and your lucky to pee half a teaspoon, but it felt like you are holding back niagra falls. I have an overactive bladder. You need to cut down all your coffee, pop, tea, alcohol, and spicy food. Drink plenty of water. I know I know.
Avatar f tn he has done urodynamics and also looked into my bladder through scope and said that nothing is wrong with my bladder and urthera,he first gave me vesicare for a month than enablex but condition still remains the same ,then i went to another general phyisican he sent me for x-ray of my lower back, results came out negative.my urlogist told me to go to neurolgist...
Avatar f tn Honestly, how do YOU react to HER when she's bad? Do you react loudly, wave your arms around, yell, get mad? They learn their reactions from us, and I am NOT saying that you're a bad parent (so please don't think so..we've all been there!) but if you want her to listen calmly, respond calmly, and learn discipline, you need to evaluate how you approach her. Most kids have the odd tantrum. This is OK and natural.
Avatar n tn Elmiron is the only FDA approved drug to treat IC. It rebuilds the mucus layer of the bladder. I also take Enablex for frequency that is pronounced at night! If you think this sounds like you, ask to see a urologist...there are treatments that will make it better...
Avatar m tn My doctor did a urinalysis and it came back negative. He put me on Enablex which has yet to help at all (2 wks. ago). I am at my wits end trying to find a solution for what is going on. In addition to the urination problem, I also have tingling in the scrotum and trouble with the head of the penis retracting inward in an uncomfortable manner. Prior to the surgery, I was totally healthy and had no urological issues. I would be very appreciative for any help. I am getting desperate!
Avatar m tn I am scheduled this Friday (the 19th of Feb) for a cystoscope/with dmso...which is how I was diagnosed with IC to beging after this procedure back 06 I had some pain for the first couple of days....but, it helped a great deal...but, I am uncertain as rather the Vesicare and/or the Elmiron is causing my blood pressure to raise....or if it is the combination of the two medications.... I have tried Detrol and Detrol LA and, neither of those help me....
147426 tn?1317265632 Her only comment was that she could see how that might improve the mood of those around me, but wondered how it helped mine. The trek down the stairs really made my left (good) thigh sore. It reminded me that I really need to get this body in better shape. I will. I think I am to the point where I will do something. I just had a big molar extracted about 3 hours ago. The numbing is wearing off and I need to take some pain meds. It is still oozing, so I am biting on a pressure bandage.
Avatar f tn I think it actually works we just did the deed and wow I hope it keeps up wish me luck ladies
Avatar f tn In another post, Lulu said: "I was like you and had to leave the pool in a hurry - self-catherizing has made a big improvement for me and I can usually stay in the pool about an hour before strong urges hit. Can I assume washing dishes and other activites involving water also create a sudden urge sometimes? " Is this not normal? I've had this for as long as I can remember--made being on swim team slightly more challenging in HS!
Avatar n tn suboxone is a lifesaver, there is too much negative mis-information out there, how can ANYTHING be as dangerous as addiction itself...? i do believe in working the treatment with therapy, i feel it is a must!!! but feeling well enough, not high, not sick just normal so we are able to tend to these underlying issues that we have ignored for so long is just such a good feeling...suboxone DOES work!! CONGRATULATIONS TO] YOU!!! and keep up the good work... i am also on sub...
Avatar f tn Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar m tn Acai berry is really no use, if you want an anti-oxidant, go for blueberry just, it's cheap and does the same thing. There is no proven double blind studies showing any use as a therapy.
Avatar f tn Is there nothing in this world that excites you - that makes you glad to be alive? Do you know how short life is and how precious each moment is? The drama and emotion of detox or finally coming to grips that your addiction is destroying your life can distort reality. You suggest that you've given up after only two years. I say that you've just started. You have too many days and too much joy ahead of you.
