But anyways I filed for divorce and served him the papers but now it’s like I don’t know what to feel. Like I’m glad to be getting a divorce but now i don’t know what to feel about him. Do I love him as a friend or what? I don’t know. Anyway if someone went through something similar some advice would be great. Thank you.

I got served with divorced papers by my husband over a month ago. He came into the house with 3 strange men. Served me and him and the men immediately started packing his belongings and packed the furniture he wanted into a truck. well.....if he doesn't want to sign them he won't. you might have a rocky divorce. having other people their might and might not stop him from lashing out. i know if my dh gave me divorce papers i wouldn't give a flying rats a$$ who was there....i'd be throwing a fit. i wouldn't tear up his papers....i'd just throw them back in his face, after i slapped him.

How expensive is that? To file your own papers? I guess my daughters hubby filed, he has help from mom. She has to respond but cannot get help anywhere, and I just do not have that kind of cash to just give her. She was printing out paperwork off the court website. They have no property and already live separately bot share the kids. He wants child support, her to foot half the bills and carry insurance on the kids. He was the principal breadwinner when they were together. Just an awful mess.

Get out now. If your hubby is anything of an ******* he can use that baby against you in the divorce and you'll be screwed because that baby is proof of infidelity. First...thank you ladies for all the feedback. Update: I did tell my lawyer that I'm pregnant and that it's not my soon to be ex husbands. My lawyer wrote up the settlement and cleverly noted that I'm pregnant ...not with his child and in a way that my ex won't know that I'm expecting. It's legal and my ex won't find out through the divorce papers or at all if I can help it. I did all that worrying for nothing and you all are great for the support!!!

A wk or so ago I posted that I'm in the process of getting a divorce and my current bf is my baby's father. My lawyer advised that he would have to put in my divorce papers that I'm pregnant but I didn't want my ex to find out or he won't be cooperative....to make this short, I asked if I should get another lawyers opinion and the majority response was yes so I did and my new lawyer didn't even ask if I was currently pregnant so I didn't say anything.
