Avatar m tn This is a topical retinoid which contains Adapalene 0.1%. It works deep into your pores and is effective at clearing both acne and blackheads. Eloise.
Avatar m tn I spoke with a dermatologist about it and i left with a prescription for adapalene. After a month of application on my nose, the problem has not improved. I am having a difficult time understanding how the product could be working. Is there another product that i should be using with the adapalene gel? Is there something else that i could be using? I have noticed over the years that my personal hygene products have caused my hair loss.
Avatar n tn There is currently no known cure for keratosis pilaris, however, there are effective treatments available which make its symptoms less apparent. Treatment includes tretinoin or Triamcinolone cream or Adapalene, a retinoid medication. Exfoliation, intensive moisturizing creams, creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids and urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin. Hope it helps.

569676 tn?1315641158 Below is an article explaining how and why suboxone works. This was written by Dr. Richard Gracer and is very well written in understandable terms. How Buprenorphine Works Buprenorphine (Subutex) is an FDA approved drug that is used to treat opiate (narcotic) dependence and prevent its relapse, to decrease the withdrawal symptoms when getting off opiates and in some specific circumstances to treat chronic pain.
Avatar n tn ve tried azelaic acid 20%, ascorbic acid 20%, kojic acid, glycolic acid, salicilyc acid, tranexamic acid, adapalene, tazarotene 0,1%, hidroquinone which made it worse, mercury bleaching cream, BBL, laser peel (resufacing), flucinolon. I think flucinolon worked best, but i can't use it long term on my face. When i use it, the inflamation and hyperpigmentation subside, but effects are immediatly reverted if i stop using it.

Avatar m tn preparations containing benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, adapalene etc. are what work best for me. Your eating habits should not have a direct effect on acne, since acne is caused by bacteria and hormonal fluctuations affect it. Yes, some foods MAY trigger an attack in some people, but I'm yet to see this in my case. Sometimes our skin gets used to certain topical medicines. If that's the case, the doctor will change it for you or combine it with other meds.
Avatar f tn Dear doctor! How long can I use Differin (adaferin, adapalene)?
Avatar f tn I also have a boyfriend that after the summer I will become sexually active with and I am terrified about letting him see my bum. I really REALLY need some help on how to get rid of it quickly. I only found out this is what I had today and I only have two weeks left of holiday. Please help me :( Thank you.
Avatar n tn See your doctor for a topical retinoid called Differin (adapalene 0.1%). This is very good at dealing with blackheads and acne. Do not try to remove the blackheads by squeezing as this can spread bacteria under the skin causing more breakouts. It can also delay healing and lead to secondary infection. A good face wash for oily skin is Estee Lauder's Sparkling Clean. Washing alone will not heal acne or blackheads so do ask your doctor about Differin.

They only appear from my forearms to my elbow. is it Tinea versicolor, I ask this because my white spots are small and not large patches. Another question I have a goosebumps type rash on my left elbow that has been there for I don't know how many months, what is it?
