Yes, I do feel nauseous when overheated but have done so all my life. I grew up in Miami so heat exhaustion was always a concern. As I grew older ,it seemed to take less and less heat exposure to bring on the nauseated feeling. Can't say it's related to MS or if it's just my body chemistry.
Independent of the cause, one should always make sure you are adequately hydrated.
s actually someone like a real stroke but heat stroke or heat exhaustion affects the brain in a different way and the ongoing symptoms are related to the body's reaction to heat or sun. Not everyone experiences ongoing sensitivity, and yours may ease off. But in my case, it was permanent. I remember those two incidents very well to this day, man I was sick (unbelievable). So in a way I am not surprised.

A year ago I believe I suffered some heat exhaustion/stroke and since then, when i start getting hot during activities, i get chills up and down my spine, arms and legs. My calf muscle on my left side will tingle/becomes numb, i get dizzy , my face gets red, i can feel my heart pounding in my head and my breathing is rapid but shallow and i have trouble regulating it for a few minutes. It scares me.
I recall my boss from several years ago who had an Italian Greyhound who nearly died of heat stroke here in Texas. They had adopted the dog in winter, and one fine day in the middle of May when temps suddenly jumped to the low 90's, they looked out the window and saw the dog just laid out in the yard. She was unconscious almost dead. Thirty minutes earlier she was running and playing with the kids.
My outer body gets way too hot and I can feel the heat myself and am too hot even in winter and it keeps me awake and i'm even hot with the radiator off, no pajamas, window open and the thinnest feather quilt (feathers cooler then synthetic) and my hands and feet are roasting but the only part of me that can sweat is my chest, back, armpits and hands. Other people feel the heat coming off me and my dad worries about it.
It is likely that you experienced some degree of heat exhaustion if you were sleeping for such long hours in direct sunlight. Also it is concerning that you did not have ventilation in the car when you were sleeping. It is quite possible that you had been inspiring air poor in oxygen and have had a buildup of carbondioxide in the blood. It is difficult to say whether it was this is the cause of your current headaches though.

Your are probably fine as long as it isn't causing you temperature to go over 100.4 and stay there for an extended period of time.make sure you are staying very well hydrated so you don't get heat exhaustion.
I don't know about early labor but you could easily get heat exhaustion or heat stroke so take extra care and make sure you are staying hydrated and do anything you can to try and keep yourself cool.
I'm 21 weeks 3 days pregnant with a boy (third child, first son) and I just can't stay awake.. it's become an issue with my kids and husband. I fall asleep and I'm out. Did anyone else go through this? How do I prevent it or fight it? I see my ob May 5th but I need some ideas till then. Thanks!
i was walking in the sun for probably 3 hours it was very hot 46 c this day, suddenly i felt my heart is racing and beating so fast with 3 ectopic beats in very few second, i stopped and put my hand on my heart it was beating too fast and strong, i cooled myself down and drank some fluids it all went back to normal(but the ectopic beats lasted for a week), went to a cardiologist he said i'm fine and it's just heat exhaustion, is it AFib or just palpitations with heat exhaustion?
I have had 2 heart attacks (age 46 and 48) from clots in a tiny artery, branch of a branch of LAD and ever since have issues breathing when it's humid outside. I am working for 1 month in a carpenter shop with no A/C, only fans and it has been as high as 99. I think I've gotten heat exhaustion twice now, missed 2 days of work. This is not my career, only a 1 month learning experience and I'm considering going to half days, early mornings only.

Hi about 20 years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, I was also told at that time by an infectious disease doctor that I had EBV. I feel there is something else wrong with me because if I do what the doctors say then I'm in so much pain I can't move, I've had catatonic states, I can not control my body temperature if I get to cold it's like I have hypothermia, and if I get to hot it's like heat exhaustion.
m on my feet 3 days a week for at least 10 hours. Suffered from heat exhaustion a month ago. Could the heat exhaustion have caused this unusual pain for me? I do have 4 herniated discs in my neck and suspect I have at least 1 in my lower back, have had 2 cortisone shots for cyatica many years ago, could any of these problems cause this problem I'm having in my legs? How many of you get exhaustion to the point where you can't do anything after a certain point? I have about 6 hours and then thats it, I have to nap, it's like I don't have a choice. It's so hard with a little 6 year old as most of you know all too well. After the surgery, how long until you feel up to doing light housework etc...? Does your fatigue get any better after surgery?
