Heartburn early stages of pregnancy

Common Questions and Answers about Heartburn early stages of pregnancy

heartburn

Avatar f tn You can technically bleed at any point of a pregnancy. Symptoms however DO NOT mean anything. Heartburn, fatigue, cravings... these happen to us all regardless of gender. Retest again in a few days with first morning urine. Make sure to use a pink dye test as well. If this too is negative, see your doctor for blood testing to find out your hCG levels.
2093372 tn?1473261554 The onset and degree of pregnancy symptoms will vary within women. Many women experience them within days of conception, others take a few weeks before pregnancy symptoms kick in and a lucky few feel no discomfort at all. The early pregnancy symptoms listed on this page generally can be felt once implantation occurs (8-10 days from ovulation) and will lessen after the first trimester.
Avatar m tn It's true that some women can have some bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy, but it's not a period per se. Symptoms are not always indicative of pregnancy. Symptoms can be from stress, illness, horomones etc... If you do want to know early symptoms, you can type early pregnancy symptoms in a google search and you will get some idea. The best ones seem to be First Response. Most of the women around here tend to use that brand.

377493 tn?1356505749 We were going through things such as early signs of labor, breathing techniques and watched a short labor movie. On the drive home Warren mentioned that I was 5 for 5 in the early labor signs. Hmmm. Increased lower abdominal cramping...check. Increased Braxton Hicks, sometimes painful now...check. Bloody show...sort of, although just a little bit. Almost constant lower back pain...check.
Avatar n tn I don't know if I'm having PMS or if I'm in the stages of early pregnancy. I know my body very well. I usually feel tenderness in my breasts, mild cramping and back ache, and get a couple of zits a week before my period. What's different this month is that I'm really breaking out-- face and upper back. For days my breasts not only felt sore-- it was like they wanted to double in size and burst. The description may sound funny but ladies, it hurt.
Avatar n tn ) The doctor explained that sometimes the babies hormones are not enough to suppress a period even though the pregnancy continues. The amniotic sac at these early stages is not totally covering the entire uterus so shedding of the endometrium can happen. He told me that it is more common than people realise. Just that people have never met anyone with the problem. Not really something people talk about usually in idle conversation!
Avatar f tn He is a result of our first try, my last pregnancy a result of our second, and this pregnancy is a result of our third. And I probably wouldn't have gotten so lucky if not for the charting. I still get blue thinking about my m/c, but I try to focus on my son and my new little angel, and my husband, who can be a ****, but is great for the most part. Anyway, best of luck. Keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I plan on taking another later this week after I am suppose to start. I have had some signs of pregnancy but not all the signs of pregnancy. My breast are tender. I have had frequent urination and I'm tired a lot a little nausea here and there too. Has anyone here that has posted actually had a positive test and been pregnant or is this possibly just another side affect? I am really worried I already care for 4 children. 3 of my own and 1 that is my sister.
Avatar n tn I have recently started to feel the symptoms of pregnancy. I came here looking to see if there was any chance of it. And now seeing that there are other women with the same concerns, I am seriously getting worried. I haven't had a period since before the ablation. I was thinking that if I went to the OB/GYN and told her my concerns, she'd think I was nuts. She's not like that, but I still worry about it. The other issue is that my husband has had a vasectomy.
Avatar n tn With my first child I took one of those stupid early pregnancy tests (the ones you can take 3 days before your missed period) and it came up negative. I then took one at my Obgyn's office the day my period was supposed to start and it was negative. My doctor advised me to wait 3 days and to test again. I did and it was finally positive. The one thing I noticed when I finally tested postive was that there was a noticable difference in the way my urine smelled.

Avatar n tn AF arrives on the 8th of the month. But now its the 11th and no word from AF. I've taken 4 pregnancy test and all of them were BFN. I even took the early response that gives you results up to 5 days before your missed period. I am experiencing all the signs of being pregnant. I've read almost every internet cite pertaining to pregnancy symptoms. All point to me, me, me. But any how, I am not convinced that it's all in my head because my dr told me it would be very hard for me to conceive.
Avatar n tn I am always 31 day cycle, never missed a period in my life, not stressed or worried about anything, I had all classis symptoms of pregnancy but strangely when all tests came back negative the symptoms dissapeard which makes me think it was in my head. Being caught up in the holiday season I really did forget about ovualtion and trying to fall pregnant so would ahve been the perfect time to actully conceive without putting much stress on it.
142452 tn?1262036275 I had it severe in the early stages...then it went away until about 25 weeks...came back but not nearly what it was like in the beginning but still annoying. I had trouble with veggies...come from a 9 yr vegetarian...I switched to meat/fruits (but only kosher or organic/free roaming meat - for the animals....LOL. Try starting your day with breads....toast, dry waffles... GOOD LUCK - YOU'RE HALF WAY THERE. WATCH OUT FOR HEARTBURN. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LITTLE ONE.
Avatar n tn I have never heard of that and my doctor sure didn't tell me of such a pregnancy. I took another bpt on Monday and this time my hcg level was over 2000. I hope that this is a good thing. My hcg levels continue to increase. So, how can your sac continue to grow if there is no baby inside? If there is no baby then what happens to the sac? Were you having any symptoms, if so what were they or did you just show up for your ultrasound and that's when you found out?
123759 tn?1226934204 I read in a pregnancy book that many women do not know they are pregnant at the end of the first six weeks of pregnancy. Alot of pregnancy tests will not pick the pregnancy hormone up because of varying levels of the hormone in different women. The book states you are best testing when you are 28 days late for a more reliable result. Any luck with your result yet? Mine is still negative!
Avatar n tn It's getting old, but I just pray that everything is OK. I went through my first round of INVITRO fertilization in June and this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for years. We were so happy to have a positive pregnancy test and now I'm experiecing bleeding.

Avatar n tn Well, I have been ecperiencing pregnancy symptoms without the exception of morning sickness which I experienced throughout my 1st trimester of my last pregnancy. I have been taking pregnancy tests since May and they have all come out negative but now I am freaking out because I am feeling movement in my stomach, sometimes kicks. So I am seriously considering getting a blood test or a sonogram because the suspense is killing me.
Avatar n tn It is the hcg that makes you feel those symptoms. Lots and lots of things can mimic pregnancy symptoms, and topping the list is thinking you may be pregnant! But as with anything dealing with medicine, nothing is 100% and the smart thing to do is to go in for an actual exam. That way, you'll know for certain. There are lots of reasons for a delayed period. Good luck to you!

Avatar n tn I have an almost 2 1/2 year old son who began complaining of back pain in mid-October. We had just had another baby, so I didn't really think much of it at first. Then in early November he wouldn't walk, after x-rays and blood work all came back normal our pediatrician diagnosed him with toxic synovitis. He began walking and was back to normal in a couple days. However, the occasional complaint of back paincontinued, most of the time when he was laying down. We took him back in to the Dr.
Avatar f tn Also a small cup of grated carrot taken every morning is said to be offensive to all kinds of parasites. There are a million ways to get rid of the adult worms inside you, but avoiding reinfection is the hard part.
Avatar n tn I'm starting to feel like I am getting a false negative and that this is all early stages of pregnancy. I had missed three pills in a row last month, and maybe this is all just sneaking up on me... But all I know, is that I've been really depressed, feeling ugly, and not eating... I think I'm pregnant.
Avatar n tn I have a missed period for 15 days now and have had the stomach flutters on my right side of my abdomen but no other signs of pregnancy... Home pregnancy test came back negative.. I have a doc appointment tomorrow, will keep every one posted. There is no way I am pregnant..
328927 tn?1227765440 I stopped taking the Metformin last night, and my heartburn and other unpleasant GI symptoms have disappeared. I know that med was 50% of the reason I was feeling so cruddy. My pain is getting under control, even though the minute my pill wears off it is clobbering me again. This should stop within the next few days, after my brain realizes my body is being treated and not ignored. I do really hate the idea of taking this medicine, despite the fact that I am assured from 3 doctors it is safe.
Avatar n tn I may lay down, get up, kneel, crouch, fold in fetal position, walk, pace, rub/massage my tummy, and try to use toilet to allow me pass gas/stool or throw up to help lower the pain and to get some relief from constant churning going on in my belly; (5) a feeling of chill/cold occurs during the early hours of an episode, followed by mild to severe dryness in mouth, that eventually is followed by a bit of nausea and/or mild-to-severe burbs upon which I "make" myself to vomit that often
