heartburn during the night

I have the craziest symptoms going on now. For the past month or 2 I have been waking up in the middle of the night usually between 2-5AM and I start to wheeze about 15 minutes later. I have to sit up or walk around and it goes away in almost exactly an hour later,then I fall back asleep and i'm totally fine. I have no symptoms during the day. I have none at night nor have no symptoms when I lay down to go to bed I fall asleep just fine.

I have awful heartburn and acid reflux. I usually take some tums with a little bit of milk and make sure I sit up afterwards. I have severe nausea too and the heartburn always makes me get sick again. It's common in pregnancy... but I know how bad it *****!

i took a lil nyquil last night couldnt take the pain no more put me right to sleep..i suggested to my family that i shouldnt talk for a whole week lol..

I've tried to ignore having to pee in the middle of the night but I feel like it hurts worse if I don't. I get up at least twice to pee at night and then all during the day. She's right on my bladder!

I got terrible heartburn at night!! It actually wakes me up with the pain, and it keeps me up till morning... please!! Suggest away.. anything that can help.

Sorry dont judge but I take 2 tums n a zantac the second time during the day n usually wrks for the rest of the day...

Hi Ladies. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I'm suffering from the worst heartburn ever!!! It makes me throw up. What are some great remedies?

I use tums during the day and take a pepcid at night before bed. Also I eat dinner as early as possible..around 5 or 6.

Mine would get really bad in the middle of the night! Tums seemed to be the only thing that really soothed it. (Try to get good flavors!) Also, milk can sometimes help to soothe it as well. Other than that....I'm not too sure what else could help.....oh wait....have you tried ginger?? That would work. I use to get the capsules and take them or if it was really bad I would break the capsule open take it and chug water with it....that got to it VERY fast....not a pleasant taste...

My heartburn are off the chain, when I don't eat nun, I still have heartburn. My son about to have a head full of hair just like his dad.

Every night i wake up in the middle of the night with serious heartburn, its horrible im almost 37 weeks cant wait to have baby boy so maybe I wont have such bad heartburn all day and night. Anyone know how to get rid of it at night?

This is my first pregnancy and heartburn had me waking up in the middle of the night every night cry, cause I was tired. A ate runs like candy didn't work and I hate milk. But I drunk it still didn't find comfort. So my home girl told me to try Mustard. I didn't believe it at first and then i asked all my relatives and they told me yes it works and to give it a try, they used it during their pregnancy.

Try not eating a few hours before lying down or going sleeping. If it still doesn't help try Zantac 150. It's totally safe during pregnancy. My dr recommended it to me after tums was no help. It does wonders...hope u feel better and have more comfort.

ve been told that drinking a small amount of something like pickle juice works for heartburn.

You should watch what you eat. Make a log of what you eat and figure out what gives you heartburn and indegestion. My triggers were beef, tomato sauce, stuff heavy like that. Hope you feel better soon.

I've started waking up in the middle of the night, really early morning with intense heartburn and feeling like my ribs are being crushed. Anyone else have similar experience and what's your relief?

i had HORRIBLE heartburn and would take tums like they were candy thru the night. well they say women who have a lot of heartburn during pregnancy have children with a lot of hair.....

I do sometimes struggle to swollen food and I do get heartburn and acid reflux and have suffered quite bad during the night with heartburn and reflux. But I don't have Loss of appetite or weight.

m drowning and sometimes at night I throw up in my mouth.

Im 23 weeks, and i'm having crazy heartburn..how often is it okay to take over the counter heartburn medication??

So last night I swear it was the pizza I ate that gave me such bad heartburn & gassy stomach, it was the Digornio or w.e kind, it was soo good but apparently my body didn't agree lol anyway so I took the benedryl so I could sleep & it kind of made it worse because I was extremely sleepy but extremely uncomfortable so I could hardly sleep & I had to be up by 8:30am, needless to say it was the worse pregnant night I've had so far !

I'm the opposite! munch loads during the day but come evening I'm not as hungry and tummy feels sick.

Heartburn is killin me now ill have a glass of milk to ease it but then its bk within half hour its there at night soon as I wake in morning any suggestions how to help ease it ladies ?

My doc said follow the label on tums if tums don't work use over the counter zantac...
