My daughter 11 years old 100 lbs (big for her age), took (the correct dose) 5mL cough and cold medicine that had the following in that dose. Guaifenesin, USP 100 mg, Dextromethorpan HBr, USP 10 mL. Phenylephedrine HCI, USB 5mg. But then she also took (the correct dose) 10 mg of a prescription medicine Guaifenesin-Codeine syrup (generic for Robitussin AC syrup). It doesn't state on the label the quantity of Guaifenesin mg in the 5mL dose. How much is too much Guaifenesin?
They also often contain cough suppressants in addition to the oral anesthetic. Cough drops that contain dextromethorphan and guaifenesin (an expectorant) are considered safe for pregnant women to use.

A temporary solution would be to buy some Mucinex, or anything containing Guaifenesin, There is a product at Walgreens called Mucus Relief Plus
which contains guaifenesin, acetaminophen, and phenylephrine.
Overall, this sounds like rhinitis, but I would get it checked by a doctor.

I have used Povidon (iodine usp) 10% antiseptic solution once on the cut, taken 7 Cefixime usp 200mg capsule 2/day till now. Using Petroleum Jelly on the spot to keep in moist two times a day. Haven't seen any doctor but got the medicine from the nearest pharmacy. Next morning while i was sleeping blood started to pumping on the penis and suddenly it started to hurt a lot. but no blood came out as i woke up and stopped the hard on.
You need some type of lubrication. There wouldn't be any hard in trying the type of lube called Preseed since you are ttc!
You could also use ways of increasing cervical mucous as well such as anything with guaifenesin. Which would be Robitussin. (Just the plain kind). You should also drink a lot more water, try out some green tea and try out evening primrose oil.
All of those things will improve the amount of cervical mucous which will inhance your chances of pregnancy.

I'm not sure if this looks like a cold sore. It is a little warm feeling but idk if that means anything. It wasn't there yesterday. I woke up this morning around 6 and noticed it. I've had three blood tests, all negative, but still having ongoing mouth burning sensations-- now this.
Any thoughts/ideas appreciated!

Hi, I am a 37 year old man. I went to Dubai on a business visit and had unprotected oral sex(receiving only) with 3-4 different escorts in a span of 15 days till about 23rd March. I didn't have intercourse with any of them.
Since last 3-4 days, I'm seeing some strange rashes on my upper torso. I also had sore throat which is fine now. But the rashes are making me very very uncomfortable. There are no rashes around my genitials or face though. No puss or anything from my penis.

My mom is dressing the affected part by applying (Povidone-Iodine Ointment USP) Betadine as suggested by the physician everytime after i pass stool and sit on a luke warm water bucket for 15-20 minutes.
Please give me appropriate solution to get rid of pain and recover ASAP.

I met an opthalmologist , he said that there are some deposits in my eye.He suggested that this could be due to use of Heart-related medicines, which I am taking regularly for last several years. I am advised to apply an eye drop 'Flur(Flurbiprofen Sodium Opthalmic Solution USP). I am using it for about a week,but no result as yet. Look forward to your opinion.
I had pink eye about 4 weeks ago and was given eye drops to use Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Solution USP. Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. I dont know what has happen to me can someone plese help?
I've had asthma since I was little, and as far as I've gathered, expectorant is for non-asthmatic cough sufferers while mucolytics are for asthmatics. Is this true? What's confusing me though is why "guaifenesin", a component in one asthma pill I used to take, is used as an "expectorant", and the only OTC drug available for the purpose of easing the removal of phlegm here in the U.S.

So I stopped using it. All I am doing now is wearing my glasses. my right eye feels like someone punched it. What is wrong? The alternative is guaifenesin, which you can buy over-the-counter. Mucinex contains guaifenesin, but I would get the plain guaifenesin. It works very well.
I do know you only need the plain kind, nothing else should be in it just guaifenesin. If you get the one with that is mixed it can have the opposite reaction. Also you need to drink plenty of water!! YOu have to do this in order for it to work. I just started taking clomid and i read to start the guaifenesin on day 10 till ovulation. On a website for fertility i read that you need to take 200mg three times a day!
2 weeks before I consulted a doctor ,who advised antifungal both oral and tablets and biopsy if not resolved aftee 15 days.After medicines it has reduced only 40 % .Doctor also acknowledge the same but he has asked me stop medicine and ho for biopsy.My mind with this pace of recovery it will go in another 7 to 10 days plz suggest.I am enclosing some pics also..

i do not have a question but a slight helpfull solution to the tiny blisters on the fingers. ever since i was small i have had tiny blisters on my fingers that come and go.the following is what usually happens
1 hands are a bit hotter a day or two before you get these blisters
2 they are under the skin
3 tiny & and clear, like water
4 your hands feel hot and kind of itchy
i have had cortizone cream and steroid cream but nothing works. many years with this has lead me to come up with things.
