1194973 tn?1385507504 Get tested for Lyme with Igenex. Also, in the meantime get on The Guaifenesin Protocol for Fibromyalgia. Don't put up with these horrible symptoms. I am 25 years old and have been living with these awful symptoms after serious trauma age 23. Love.
Avatar n tn I am scared that I have cancer, or some kind of dangerous lung infection, or kidney infection. I even paged my doctor and he hasn't even called back. Because I am also being treated for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (with Celexa and Xanax), he treats me like a hypochondriac. I am wondering if I have fibromyalgia. In a way, I hope I do because it is benign and could explain all my aches and pains. I have been aching, hurting and crying all evening.
Avatar f tn o Epilepsy o Type 2 diabetes o Rheumatoid arthritis o Psoriasis o Inflammatory bowel disease * You have kidney disease and are on dialysis. * You have liver disease. * You have celiac disease. * You abuse alcohol. Avatar n tn It is used alone and in combination products to treat mild to moderate pain and as a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin is a drug that reduces the thickness and stickiness of mucus. It is used for short-term relief of dry, nonproductive cough and mucus in the breathing passages. Avatar n tn My blood tests always come back good. The pain is awful!!!!! Compared to a kidney stone pain in the upper right quadrant and through to the back. They also make me drink a GI cocktail. I tell them not to bother as it is not my stomach that hurts. I'm allergic to demerol so they just give me morphine until the pain stops and then I go home. I have tried the meds that you place under the tongue, but they do not help.
Avatar n tn This time the xray urologist did with contrast showed white spots on my right kidney. Kidney stone was ruled out as the spot showed up not your usual kidney stone would. Again, in 1998 my urologist hospitalized me for UTI. The xray again showed white spots on my right kidney. Urologist is now baffled as to what these spots are. No kidney disease or cancer so he rules them out as just "being there". 1999 I have now lost my periphial vision and field vision is not good.
Avatar n tn It is tender to the touch in all of those places and also the lower back/kidney area. The urologist was SURE I had a kidney stone, but they did not see one on the IVP. The ultrasound showed a small "flake" in my right kidney though and I pass globs of mucous in my urine (which again I have told everyone and they dismiss it since my urinalysis is ok). I know this is long, but I wanted to share my experiences.
Avatar n tn I read in the post above that Guaifenesin can make this happen. Guaifenesin is found in many medications similar to Mucinex that thins the mucus in your bronchial tubes. I started taking Mucinex DM because of chest congestion about 4 days ago... which is exactly when this sensation started happening. Its actually happening right now as I type this. Beneath my right shoulder blade, about 2 inches from my spine, this feeling occurs.
Avatar f tn I just remember how happy we were to get our little boy off of seizure meds after years of horrible seizures and all the bad side effects he's just now overcoming from the meds (including liver and kidney problems)... I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to take them, weightloss or not. I mean, after all, they're for nerve blocking in the brain and can really change things (sometimes for the worse). Really, honestly.... just curious.

Avatar m tn Some smells can come from liver or kidney diseases, or from acid reflux in the stomach. 8. Some smells can come from having a bad mix of bacteria in the intestines, and somehow the smell comes out through the sinuses or lungs. The best solution that I have seen is The Schwarzbein Principle by Dr. Diana Schwarzbein, MD. 9. There is a disease called atrophic rhinitis, which involves the decay of the mucus membranes in the sinuses.
