Recently diagnosed with Type 2. Doctor started me on Metformin (Glumetza) about a one week ago. 500MG 2x day. I'm getting some nausea that seems to continue all day and just sort of a general light headed feeling. Not dizzy per se and haven't vomited yet but it's disconcerting and not good for someone who needs to spend time outside in the sun etc. I'm just not feeling right.
Doctor wrote him medicine named GLUCOVANACHE 500 mg half tab after lunch. Is this medicine useful for her? or is there any other medicine should be given? Plz tell me what are Do's & Dont's meal for diabetic patient? what are the vegetables that contains sugar?

Bulk buying of meats such as ground beef, pork, chicken. Eggs. Consider buying sale items (find out when your local store typically does markdowns). If you have a reasonably sized freezer, buy in bulk when items are on sale.
You may find a local farmers market can have reasonably priced produce.
Avoid processed foods as much as possible, as they are poor nutritional value.
Plan meals as much as possible to avoid wastage of foods.

My levels can increase 25 to 100 points after taking my medication (GLUCOVANCE) whether I eat or not. Earlier today I ate a meal which included a lot of carbs. I checked my blood sugar before and after. My blood sugar level dropped 50 points.
I know that weaning off of cymbalta causes a myriad of side effects with brain zaps being the worst. I have researched to see if there is a link between coming off of cymbalta and this problem with my blood sugar.
I also recently bought a Sealy memory foam pillowtop mattress. I got it at Sears on sale for $490 and it was regular priced $1200! They were having a 60% off sale. After years of trying, I'm now pregnant. So I've been planning for this moment forever now. I am 12 weeks pregnant and I'm ready to turn my make up room into a nursery, order the crib, etc. But my husband thinks it's too early. He thinks we should wait longer before I start buying baby stuff. When is a good time to get the nursery ready and buy the crib?
