hi, i m 5 weeks pregnant, my hcg nos were 1462 at 4 weeks and 2 days...i jus want to know if pregnancy symptoms come and go as i have breast tenderness only during night and my very slightly sore during day time...is it ok...i do feel nausea during evenings..but little concerned about my breasts getting normal during daytime..m on progesterone suppst anyway ...please advice ..i dnt want to be stressed and take this on a positive thought...

Hi. After reading ur post it almost seems like we are going crazy over the same thing. I too have been going crazy over this since last october. Been to 3 different doctors even had an ultrasound and everything came bak negative for me, but yet I still check so often. Any info would help so much. I read so much on the internet but everything is different. I need actual facts!

Hello 5 months ago I discovered a lump just above my left testicle its soft and painless and can be moved around, its not fixed. I decided to ignore it and at the time I had no other issues I have not been feeling any pain and I feel quite healthy. However few days ago I started having back pain which has been going on for 3 days should I be concerned about this? I'm embarrassed to tell my parents for obvious reasons.

I have an appointment tuesday this all started wednesday i will see what she tells me tomorrow....

The nurse said it was Gadolinium she was giving me, but when I looked at my insurance claim it said Tc 99m Pentetate. If Tc 99m was used, is this better than Gadolinium? Does it travel to the brain faster, and maybe this is why I finished 5 minutes after the injection? Are they the same thing? I have no idea and I'm hoping someone on here may be able to help. My GP said nothing was found on the MRI so it's definitely not MS...although the only images taken were of my brain.

i have the l-5 disc herniated out in the middle they say it is hitting off the nerves running down my legs which they say is causing my numbness and tingling in my legs and feet is there any kind of surgery that can help ive tried therapy , injections clueless on what to do next

TC is diagnosed with MRI however an MRI is suggested if TC is suspected due to symptoms.. Some people have a birth mark in the skin of the lumbar spine as far as I know.

Hi guys, I've started having severe pain in the left side of my lower back & in my left hip. So bad I can't stand up straight. I'm wondering if it could be related to chiari/tethered chord. I haven't been diagnosed with tc, just chiari. Thanks for the feedback. Praying everyone's well!

She has taken two infusions of TC (taxotere cytoxin) already, but has had both a severe allergic reaction to the Tax during both infusions, and then recently a delayed allergic reaction to it (which is extremely rare). After meeting with her onco today, he gave her two options: (1) Stop chemo altogether and move straight on to radiation and hormone therapy or (2) replace the TC with AC (Adriamycin cytoxin) for her remaining two infusions.

His TC/HDL ratio is 4.06 compared to a goal of under 5.0 and his HDL/LDL ratio is .386 compared to a goal of greater than .30, both are considered as good. These being in line makes me think there is time to make some lifestyle changes before jumping on a statin. Ratios are the true indicators.

Hi all, sorry I have not updated for a few days but there has really been no change. TC is still in ICU on full oxygen. she is getting better, just very slowly. Seamus has called me every evening to let me know and I have told him we are all thinking of her. Just as soon as she is out of ICU, I will let you know.

We need more information regarding your hair loss; when did you finish Chemo? Most times you will get complete regrowth but not immediately and on rare occasions the regrowth will not be complete and often the hair will be different than before Chemo. Regards ....

That makes me feel really good today. We all need some good news now. WTG TC, we knew you would be fine, Now all you have to do is get strong and "back to normal".

I recieved a call from Seamus yesterday evening and they were taking TC out of ICU. She is doing better but still very sore. Hopefully the next call that I recieve will be from here. I sent her love and good wishes from everyone and told her we were all thinking about her with hopes that she have a good recovery. So I hope that the next step will be going home. I will let you all know.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum. I do have TC and it shows on my MRI and it was considered that I have the release...BUT the Drs decided I would benefit more from the decompression surgery and as I understand it, the PFD is easier to recover from then the release....I had my PFD in '09 and have yet to go in for the release as the decompression helped with most of my symptoms. If you have TC occulta...hidden TC.....

that cyst is usually not visible.....and many times TC can not be seen on a MRI and is considered to be occulta TC...meaning Hidden TC..... Do ask about EDS too.

UPDATE. I saw my NS Dr. Won today. He said it's possible I could have TC because it hurts to *try* to touch my toes. He said it's possible that it won't show on an MRI and has even done surgery for TC on people who didn't show TC on their MRI. He said he is more concerned with my DDD (herniated discs) in my lumbar spine. He said if he was going to do any surgery that would be the first one. He asked me how my sypmtoms where and I told him I was better, but not 100% symptom free.
