Ondansetron is used for treating vomiting. Constipation, dizziness and headache are the most commonly reported side effects associated with its use. These symptoms will ware off once you have stopped using the medication. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. I hope it helps.

It could be a case of gastroenteritis (gut infection) which has led to diarrhea and vomiting. The main symptoms of gastroenteritis are diarrhea and vomiting although one or the other symptom may predominate.
If the symptoms persist (>1 day), worsen or lead to other complications you should consult your doctor who could order some tests such as stool examination etc.
In the meanwhile take rest and drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration.
Go with lots and lots of fiber, at least the minimun daily requirement and this should help unless she is developing IBS. Try this and if it doesn't work have her see a GI dr.

The pain is specifically on my left side, below the ribs, between the last rib and the hip bone. Right there in the fleshy area of the lower abdomen and going downwards towards the hip. But its specifically on my side, not my back or tummy. Its been a week since symptoms started. I was wondering if anyone out there was also diagnosed with this at any point in their life? I recently went to the ER because I became violently ill, and didn't put the pieces together until now.
When I was around 8 I was diagnosed with this, usually I was vomiting or had diarrhea almost every day for a long time. It seemed to stop, but I always still had diarrhea where most people would have regular bowel movements.
It worries me that this condition could be coming back in force.
Hi. 5'10" Gent, and brand spankin newbie to this site. i just turned 56 in April. In my journal August. 12, 2013, I recorded wgt. 247.5 lb, BP 157/101, severe depression & anxiety with heaart palpitations and mid-nightime panic attacks. Also using CPAP setting of 14cm for severe sleep apnea, and suffered almost daily migraines. Plus my triglicerides were, as my dr put it, "through the roof!
