Common Questions and Answers about Frequent urination in the first trimester
frequent-urination
I've had frequent urination from the middle of my first trimester and it has actually gotten worse. I would ensure you drink lots of fluids because I also just had a UTI which can be a pain in the butt.
It's normal in the first trimester because of the increased hormone labels and blood flow, it'll taper off in the second trimester and pick up again in the third when baby gets big.
t at all with my previous pregnancy til the last trimester, this pregnancy it was one of my first symptoms, so it varies. Usually the last trimester or end of the 2nd is when your uterus really starts weighing on your bladder.
Its pretty normal to have increased frequency, but Id still mention it to the Dr just in case you do have a UTI. It only gets worse, never got better for me. Im now 37wks and have to pee at least once almost every hour now that my baby has dropped. Its miserable!
I've had frequent urination since it started in the first trimester. Im in the first week of my third. It never went away. Somedays was better than others. My doctor said his favorite spot to lay is on my bladder.
Thanks! Yeah I need to be more careful at night for sure. .. you're lucky you're so close to the bathroom at work mine is kinda far :/ thanks for the advice though I will be trying it!!
Deff very normal unfortunately lol thefirst time you go you can feel like youve emptied your bladder but if your baby pushes on it that can make you haveto go again and pee a little a few minutes latet
It's totally normal to have discharge. Especially during the first trimester. It'll get better during the second trimester then worse again during the third. And ever since I've been pregnant I've been peeing constantly. Lol.
t have frequent urination until I hit the end of my second trimester and I did have nausea in my firsttrimester but that was it it's actually starting to come back as I get closer to my due date
and i stay in the bathroom every 10-15 mins or less
i thought it would only been in my firsttrimester and then on my last one but no it seems its the whole prepregnancy...
38 weeks ftm with a baby girl I can't sleep for nothing in the world frequent urination a lottt of pressure down there I can barely walk heartburn and some nausea once again
So, thoughts on this involve the different phases of pregnancy. More frequenturination takes place in EARLY pregnancy because of a couple of reasons. First, the hormones of pregnancy themselves namely HCG. But second, you are pumping more blood to the abdominal area and this affects the kidneys which will have more urine output. For many women it is the very first sign of pregnancy (as it is often really subtle, early pregnancy symptoms).
these could be known as braxton kicks ,, ,, theurination would be the extra pressure on the bladder ,, there is many antinatal classes out there ,, which i would recomened ,, and decide for your labour day ,
i felt the same during my firsttrimester. each day i hoped to reach my second trimester soon so the morning sickness, acnes, frequent night urination will go away. During this time, you can find new hobbies to keep your mind off your pregnancy so time will fly a lot faster.
I'm 9w5d and on my second pregnancy. With my daughter I had no symptoms what so ever... with this one my breasts are so sore that they hurt with or without a bra. Even if my shirt rubs them the wrong way I want to scream!!! The slightest bump and I want to punch something..... I also had shooting pains especially through my nipples but that seemed to subside (thank god). My Dr said the pains are completely normal. Good luck!
My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine.
He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.
The tspine showed a possible lesion, so the urologist sent me to the neurologist, who has now diagnosed the MS. Theurination issue, by the way, is the only symptom I have associated with MS.
What I'm getting at, is the neurologist has referred me to a pain specialist who implants neurostimulators for bladder retention and frequency. She says her MS patients that have gotten this neurostimulator claim a world of difference.
5 to 2 hours, i feel the urge to urinate and since the last 2-3 days i am also experiencing slight burning inthe vagina. I would like to add that this whole frequenturination thing began after i masturbated.
Another thing I have noticed lately is that I have to urinate much more than I ever did! I could go all night without having to get up...I could play 18 holes of golf, and while everyone was hitting the bathrooms on the course...I was "cool, calm and collected". Now, I'm up 3-4 times a night...and gong twice as much during the day than I ever did before. I have read articles that this can be related to the Chiari....Nothing else has changed...
The one STD which might be associated with urinary frequency is non-gonococcal urethritis, which is diagnosed by demonstration of increased numbers of white blood cells in a urine specimen collected at the beginning of urination or in a urethral swab from the penis. In both cases you should not have urinated for at least an hour before your specimen is collected. You could have this done at your local STD clinic for little if any cost.
