Avatar f tn I did and it was a total surprise!! The pull out method does not work. My husband never left it in. I was really sad at first because my husnand and I already have a total of 8 children and to be 26 and be exspecting again was a total shock. My husband freaked out as well. My husband and I now realize that this is a blessing and god choose us for a reason so were really happy to see what god has instored for us.
Avatar m tn Anti fungals such as clotrimazole and fluconazole have not worked. The bumps can be scraped off with a toothbrush but will return the next day. If they are left, they will grow to the size seen in the picture over about 2 to 6 days and then seem to get a little wider and perhaps not so round. They then seem to scrape off by themselves simply by eating something. They are in my throat and it causes me to cough a lot. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? Thanks very much.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.
Avatar f tn my dr gave me fluconazole for my infection ,3 pills in 3 days .should we skip or take it regular.because she told me take it wednesday ,thursday ,and sunday,,thank..
Avatar n tn You can purchase from the pharmacy a medication called Fluconazole 100mg which is a single dose capsule that you swallow with a glassful of water. There are creams and pessaries that can be used, but as your period is due any time using a pessary may not be a good idea. Do have a chat with the pharmacist who will be able to advise you. As your period is due any day now, the cramping is due to that.

Avatar f tn He took the straight edge razor out of a uv sterlizing machine however the lights of the machine were turned off so I'm afraid that the machine wasn,t working and the razor wasnt sterilized. When I reached home I saw tiny spots of blood on my face in 2 or 3 places. What are the risks for hcv or any other infection?
Avatar f tn This became an issue today when I saw my OD about irritation in the other eye (unrelated). He shared his concerns about the lack of UV blocking in the Crystalens and the potential for vision disturbances if the lens shifts, due to the small optic size. I did my best to find more information (my surgeon is out of the office for the rest of the week.) What I read suggests that lens shift would cause less problem with the AO than with the HD.
Avatar f tn After returning to the doctors they were stumped as to what it could be, with no obvious rash they where skeptical it was fungal but prescribed the fluconazole for 4 weeks as a test to see if it did remove it, I presume this method of fluconazole 50mg for 4 weeks would treat yeast also? No cultures or scrapings have ever been taken, they've referred me to a dermatologist but there's a 2 month wait and no obvious skin issues.
Avatar f tn I have very fair skin so I know it's important to limit my UV exposure. The problem is that my skin is very sensitive, and I've had an adverse reaction to every sunscreen/sunblock I've tried (including pure zinc-based ones). So I limit my sun exposure, and wear a big wide brim sun hat and long sleeves and pants when I'm out in the sun. I have a portable UV checker which detects the intensity of UVA/UVB rays. So that helps me know whether I'm getting much or any UV light.

Avatar m tn Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
Avatar n tn To make vitamin D you need UV-B rays to come into direct contact with your skin. Of note: UV-B rays cannot penetrate glass. Pollution and clouds decrease the number of UV-B rays. * Latitude - UV-B rays only penetrate the atmosphere when the sun is at certain angles. In places with a latitude above 37 degrees, UV-B rays usually do not reach the earth's surface during the winter months.
Avatar f tn Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!
Avatar f tn I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...
