My blood cortisol level is high. My doctor ordered a 24 hour urine test. I am currently taking fluconazole tablets & miconozole cream for a yeast infection. Also, I used topical cortisone cream on my face yesterday. I plan to collect the urine tomorrow. Will any of this interfere with the results?

Hi, I am a 31 year old male and I took 2 doses of fluconazole to treat a yeast infection, I now have a rash coming up on the bottom of my feet only on the arches , ankles, wrist, hands, and arms. They are small flat head and raised like blisters but don't seem to be filled with fluid and doesn't really itch, can the fluconazole cause this skin reaction?
Sir, I had thrush on penis 10 weeks back. had fluconazole systemic for 15 days but relapsed again in 2 days. Since 1 month have severe myalgia. Hi, im 25. So i started having UTI symptoms together with a mild vaginal itch and i did a urine MCS & HVS. S.aureus was seen in my urine but nothing in the HVS. i was prescribed ciproflox. Fastforward to 3days on the drug i started having this intense vaginal itch on my labia minora accompanied by vaginal rash on my labia minora. I have completed my dose and i'm still having mild itching.
I have had uti since 2 years old (kidney reflux) that turned into to major kidney stone problem and I was infected with ESBL ecoli. For the past 2 years I have a fungal infection in my urine. I have had 6 rounds of diflucan to no avail. My urology dr is at a loss. Should I be seeing an infectious disease dr at this point? When I take diflucan I feel better quickly. Once I stop within a few days I feel terrible again. They prescribe diflucan for 14 days. Had it 6 x’s. Always comes back.
Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

A small section of my right cheek,Doctor first prescribed anti fungal cream (clotrimazole)+fluconazole weekly tabs for three weeks, cleared for a week then problem still persisted,urine test for chlamydia was negative,blood tests including blood sugar level normal.I dont expect much from the pinworm test and culture test since clotrimazole had cleared the small roughness (the skin looked normal all the way)Could be candida?BUT also i have BPH...could it be a prostate infection?
he took a urine sample for now. i have been taking the fluconazole for 2 days along with monistat. the three red bumps also have some white discharge from them and they do seem like they might be ulcerations because they look like little craters with white on the inside. it does not hurt to touch them although they are a bit sensetive. I dont know what this might be can someone please give me some more info.
When it didn’t go away on its own after a week I saw a dr who looked at a urine sample under a microscope and declared that I had a very high level of white blood cells in my urine, likely as the result of a bacterial infection.
There was no discharge from my penis or any other symptoms so my dr thought it more likely to be anal bacterial than a traditional STI and so prescribed a 10-day course of Bactrim and told me to come see him again after the course.

Hi, here is my story. I started with an itchy penis (urethra) like a month ago. I went to the doctor and they did a urinalysis and only saw white blood cells. Ok so they put me on Bactrim and five days later I think the itching went away but it also started burning on the tip pretty bad when I would urinate and at the end of the urinating there was like two drops of blood and the urine smelled pretty bad.
I was diagnosed with male thrush and was given fluconazole for 3 days 400mg per day. But I had tingling sensation at my penis and went to see the dermatologist again. He said it's nothing and just gave me corticosteroids. I went for blood and urine tests. All negative for chlamydia, gonnorhea, syphilis, chancroid, HIV, HSV2.
I also have unprotected vaginal sex with my wife ... she does NOT have any symptoms. No thrush, no discharge, no pain etc. My questions are:

On the 11/Sep/09 I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin for another infection (urine analysis showed bacteria), during which I developed what seemed like slight thrush on the middle of my tongue (still have it, didn’t get any worst).
After visiting the doctor for discomfort/pain upon urination following a possible STD exposure, I was prescribed Cipro for 5 days and Doxycycline for 10 days(both for UTI, Chlamydia), Fluconazole for 2 doses (elevated yeast infection via urine sample) and was given the gonorrhea shot. My doctor gave me the meds for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea prior to getting the urinalysis results.
I went to a doctor and he said he believed it was a yeast infection and prescribed fluconazole. It also appeared to work until i fell asleep drunk with jeans on , the next morning i was irratated again. I returned to the doctors, the fluconazole no longer working and he sent me to the lab for a urine analysis; which returned negative. I heard herpes cant be detected via urine and when i asked him if he was sure it couldnt be herpes he reassured me it was not, only irratation.
The symptoms began with a burning sensation on my penis 2 days after my sexual encounter with a sex worker . We had protected sex and I received fellatio from her without a condom. After the 2 days I felt fatigued and had chills. I have had a burning sensation in my genital area(Penis, groin and tip of my penis) for the past 4 weeks. I also had a burning sensation in my anal region and constipation that went away.
II with the last outbreak being almost two years ago, on the 15 Jul 08 I came out with what seemed like a penile yeast infection, I was treated with one fluconazole 150 and Lotrisone cream for 14 days, went away well, I also take Zocor for my hereditary high cholesterol.
Around the 14th August 08 I was unusually very stressed about a business deal and later had some unusual dizziness, (It was accompanied by a short bout of dry long coughs), went away quickly..
Redness, swelling in the urethra is a sign of infection. Is there any discharge or foul smelling urine? It could be routine urinary tract infection or an STD. is there any rash or lump on the penis? Routine urinary tract infections could be bacterial or yeast infections.
It is difficult to say what it is without examination. I would suggest that you visit a urologist and get a urine analysis with culture and STD panel done to confirm the diagnosis and further assistance in treatment.

I went to the doctor about a week ago because i had symptoms of a UTI. Doc tested my urine and said it was clean. then did a full examination and tested me for syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia. All came back negative. I was positive for a yeast infection. my doc gave me an antibiotics called Fluconazole 200mg (take one every 3 days).
Also a cream to put on affected area called Nystatin/Triamcinolone.I didnt use the cream like i was suppose to (twice a day for 7 days).

I have dry penis forehead & foreskin from last 3-4 years or more & skin become cracked because of dryness, i used vaseline.. then i used coconut oil. I feel burning & little pain on penis from last 3-4 years while having dryness.
Now before 4-5 months i had unprotected sex with my gf & my penis become red, itchy, sore,burning & smigma..
Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
