I used fluconazone but it disappear for few months but come again after some time.
My beagle was on that for his bacterial pyodermas, but also on Fluconazole for the yeast he had. There are different types of yeast/fungals, some will present with a lot of itching, redness, inflammation, just like us w/yeast infections, but no waxy stuff and others are this dark waxy stuff but not much itching. it's basically the same brownish yucky/stinky stuff they get in their ears.

Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole, terbinafine ( I have tried these 4 drugs in oral and topical form) I have also tried selsun shampoo and all of these have failed. I was wondering if there was anymore hope for me? Is there anymore antifungal pill I can take? Due to my rash not responding well to 3 azole antifungals does this mean it won't respond to any of the other azole antifungals? And are there anyother antifungal that are effective that arnt azole?

I then went to my doctor and he prescribed me ketoconazole shampoo,ketoconazole tablets, and ketoconazole cream. I have been on these meds for 3 days with symptoms not clearing up at all, almost getting worse, the balanitis is now not only on the head of my penis and foreskin, but on the top of my penis too. Im on my last leg here. Any suggestions . PLEASE.

Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!
It sounds like a yeast or a dermatophyte fungus. Or it could be lice? Do you see anything like that? The nits are about 1 mm in size and are usually attached to the pubic hair. If you have this you would have to get a treatment for them.
Fungi like to grow in moist areas. Have you tried the fungal creams? Most of them are made with fluconazole. If that didn't work you should get tested. If these didn't work some yeast are resistant to it. You can try Terbinafine (Lamisil) cream.
I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...
Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.
He is Rxing fluconazole for 6 weeks, one tab a day, 100mg. Is this safe? I am healthy for the most part, 40 yr old female with Hashimoto's. My main symptom is chronic stomach bloating. She gave me oral 400mg Fluconazole (an anti-fungal) pill to take once,1 week apart, some Sodium Sulfacetamide 10% face wash & lotion and Ketoconazole shampoo. About 5 days into me using the treatments the areas still had no change and one of the products seem to be irritating my face further, so I called my derm & discontinued the use of the topical products.

Skin scrapings from between the toes should be done and looked at under the microscope to see which it is or both. Systemic (oral) antifungals and antibiotics work better than just shampoo. Fluconazole for yeast is cheapest and can also be price shopped at pharmacy's. If diet doesn't help after at least 10 weeks then think about allergy testing.
Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today.
