I completed my last dose of metronidazole 4 days ago and also took fluconazole after completion. I noticed a yellow tint on both sides of my tongue the Friday I completed the last pill and took the fluconazole. I was instructed to take metronidazole 2times daily for 7 days. During the time taking it i experienced pain in muscles, jaw pain, headaches, dizziness, sweating, pebble like stool...
Did you tell the doctor you might be allergic to the fluconazole or that you had a reaction to it? Since it is in the same class of drugs it make cause the same type of reaction. That is why I also suggested the Lamisil. Usually for example if you are allergic to penicillin you can't take any type of penicillin derivative like Cepalosporins (cephalothin, cefoxitin,) Same thing might occur and probably goes for this class of drugs.
I used fluconazone but it disappear for few months but come again after some time.
Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

And within less than 24 hours and there was a full rash on my penis head, which was itchy and burning. I went to the resort doctor, who said it was an allergic reaction to the latex condom used. She gave me vitamin a+d cream and oral steroid tablets. Didn't too much except help with the burning a bit. Within the next day my foreskin became pretty swollen as well.
This comes in capsule form that you can also buy from the pharmacy without prescription. There is Fluconazole 150mg that is a single dose oral capsule and Fluconazole 50mg that comes in a pack of 7 which one capsule is taken daily for the 7 days.
If you are sexually active, it would be a good idea to get checked out for any STD and also have your blood tested for diabetes.

Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
The lesion returned again in the same spot I went to the OBGNY they took a sample of the virus and i was prescribed fluconazole 150 mg and nystatin-triamcinolone 100,000 unit/g-0.1 % topical cream again i was told it may be herpes. Hyphae/Candida was detected. And now again i have a lesion on my outer vagina lip in the same spot reddish and looks irritated like it was scratched and i'm worried. What could the lesion be? do i really have herpes? is it a reaction?
Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!

A week later, April 15th, I had a bad reaction. My vagina was swollen and itchy and very burning. I had little red pimples which instantly turned into white sores about an hour later. It oozing white puss. I get tested and I was negative for Gonn and Chlymida (spelling) and diagnosed as a yeast infection. I was given terconazole the cream and everything went back to normal, My vagina was feeling better, no bumps or nothing.
Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.
He is Rxing fluconazole for 6 weeks, one tab a day, 100mg. Is this safe? I am healthy for the most part, 40 yr old female with Hashimoto's. My main symptom is chronic stomach bloating. It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. The bad news is that although some parts of my body are definitely better, new ringworm has appeared on my face in the last few days.
What should I do? I'm hoping to see the doctor again soon.
I eventually went to a dermatologist and he presribed to me Cordran Lotion and 200 MG of Fluconazole tablets. They both seem to control the problem but again, does not make it go away. Any ideas?
This time I took fluconazole 150 mg that my doctor prescribed at the last visit. I even took a second dose 72 hours later and I am still having itching, redness, and soreness. I am scared now, I don't know why fluconazole isn't working (it worked for me in the past). What else can I use? I feel out of options, since fluconazole failed. It can't be bacterial, because discharge is white and odorless.
