471453 tn?1207520183 I'm wondering about the success of the MIC Injections for any of you out there? I just had my 4th weekly injection and am also on a 1200 calorie a day diet. I have lost 4 lbs at the end of my 3rd week. What I am noticing is that I am losing inches around my tummy (hips). These shots are pretty expensive $250 for 5, but I get the weekly visit with my nurse practioner along with a weigh in and support from her & her staff so, I guess that isn't too bad :).
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

4981292 tn?1381256805 Lol my boyfriend is so cute. Hes playing xbox with a bunch of friends so he is talking in the mic. Well, he asked me how I was feeling then I heard him say into the mic "yeah, we can pretty much have the baby at any time, but we are waiting for contractions then they have to be 4 minutes apart then we have to wait a whole hour " lol mind you that my bf doesn't understand why we have to wait and the whole meaning of "regular" contraction.
Avatar m tn Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
Avatar f tn Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!
Avatar f tn I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...
Avatar f tn Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
Avatar f tn but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Avatar m tn Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.
Avatar n tn He is Rxing fluconazole for 6 weeks, one tab a day, 100mg. Is this safe? I am healthy for the most part, 40 yr old female with Hashimoto's. My main symptom is chronic stomach bloating. He is doing an ultrsound and x-ray of abdomen as well but wanted to get advice on this long term use of fluconazole. Thank you for your time.
Avatar n tn It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. The bad news is that although some parts of my body are definitely better, new ringworm has appeared on my face in the last few days. What should I do? I'm hoping to see the doctor again soon.
Avatar m tn This time I took fluconazole 150 mg that my doctor prescribed at the last visit. I even took a second dose 72 hours later and I am still having itching, redness, and soreness. I am scared now, I don't know why fluconazole isn't working (it worked for me in the past). What else can I use? I feel out of options, since fluconazole failed. It can't be bacterial, because discharge is white and odorless.
Avatar m tn Keep a little tab next to you and count how many times they sneeze/cough when you play with your microphone off and how many times they react when you play with your mic on. Play the same amount of time or adjust by the number of minutes you play to compute a reactions per minute measure. This evidence is very important. If you see a difference it means that PATM is captured by the microphone as many here believe..
Avatar f tn Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today. Now I'm scared because I don't know if I could take this pill this late in my pregnancy I'm 39 week now. Have anyone ever took this pill after 35 weeks?
3226698 tn?1346449088 The Mic Key device is one example. They come in different sizes so the correct one can be selected to occlude the tract and keep it from leaking. Usually, leakage can be stopped by placing a larger size.
Avatar f tn I just met with my edocrinologist who has recommended that I have remnant ablation and whole body scan with 100 miC of radioiodine following two injections of Thyrogen instead of standard therapy using thyroid replacement withdrawal. I am attracted to the thoughts of not having to be hypothyroid prior to ablation and WBS, but am concerned that the TSH stimulation and iodine uptake after Thyrogen may not be as effective as standard treatment using thyroid hormone withdrawal.
Avatar f tn Apparently I can consistently getting yeast infections due to hormonam imbalance. I'm afraid to overdose on the fluconazole. Is there a natural way of getting rid of it? I'm thinking cranberry juice but should I drink it once in a while or is there another alternative. Because I have to avoid sugar in order to fix my hormonal imbalance.
Avatar n tn So It has been around 3-4 weeks and I still having symptoms. First I was taking Nystatin then my Doctor prescribed me Fluconazole. While I was taking this medications I felt like it was only preventing it from getting worse and not actually addressing the root cause. Just a couple days ago I stopped taking Fluconazole and my tongue and lips again started to get swollen. I have also been taking pro-biotics and have been eating natural yougurt.
Avatar f tn I was then prescribed Nystatin oral suspension (3 bottles) and using it helped, but it did not completely clear the thrush. I went to my GP and he then prescribed Fluconazole tablets for me (50mg for 22 days). This has not cleared the thrush either. Up till now, my thrush is still not cleared (since november 2010). I am afraid that it might have become very resistant to medication. Could you please advise me on what to do? Are there any other medications that I can take?
