fluconazole iv

Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

I find that fluconazole (Diflucan) works better than any of the others I've tried except Mycelex troches (which helps somewhat). In spite of trying yogurt, lactobacillus pills, caprylic acid, and eating less sugary food, and taking 150 mg of fluconazole daily for a over a week, the infection always returns.

Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.

this was my only sexual encounter within the last few years(with 2 other occasions being with a virgin carrying no risk), iv had swollen glands but i may have developed this before the incident, and only one gland is now slightly swollen in my neck. being paranoid, i went for an 60 second instant hiv test the other day (which would have been just after five months) which came back negative.

Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!

I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...

Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???

Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.

He is Rxing fluconazole for 6 weeks, one tab a day, 100mg. Is this safe? I am healthy for the most part, 40 yr old female with Hashimoto's. My main symptom is chronic stomach bloating. It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today. Apparently I can consistently getting yeast infections due to hormonam imbalance. I'm afraid to overdose on the fluconazole. Is there a natural way of getting rid of it? I'm thinking cranberry juice but should I drink it once in a while or is there another alternative. Because I have to avoid sugar in order to fix my hormonal imbalance.

So It has been around 3-4 weeks and I still having symptoms. First I was taking Nystatin then my Doctor prescribed me Fluconazole. While I was taking this medications I felt like it was only preventing it from getting worse and not actually addressing the root cause. I was then prescribed Nystatin oral suspension (3 bottles) and using it helped, but it did not completely clear the thrush. I went to my GP and he then prescribed Fluconazole tablets for me (50mg for 22 days). This has not cleared the thrush either. Up till now, my thrush is still not cleared (since november 2010). I've been to my doctor to see if they can help me and the gave me fluconazole 150mg. But I notice that I have these patches on my penis one under my foreskin and the other 3 under my my shaft. I've been tested only Positive for oral herpes, everything else was negative. The patches are shiny and itchy I don't know if I should go to a different doctor or a specialist.

Hi, I am a 31 year old male and I took 2 doses of fluconazole to treat a yeast infection, I now have a rash coming up on the bottom of my feet only on the arches , ankles, wrist, hands, and arms. They are small flat head and raised like blisters but don't seem to be filled with fluid and doesn't really itch, can the fluconazole cause this skin reaction?
