Avatar m tn t know if you did some critical thinking of your own. but in my case, before this incident, i had eaten different bread but i had consistently checked the ingredients to weed out questionable ingredients like unspecified sugar and other baddies that might be gmo. and i haven't had problem till this time. from my casual research, it seemed dupont might've been selling it. and seemed dextrose could be gmo corn. holy sheet! that would explain my allergy.
393685 tn?1425812522 no way. You have to understand thyroid medication and how tough it is to find one to stabilize this disease. This is interesting that this post was found b/c so many thyroid patients talk about wanting to start HCG and the information isn't... out there alot on this dextrose issue. Most may not be able to put that together with taking a natural desiccated with dextrose that does great for so many and not realize how the HCG would react.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.
Avatar f tn my dr gave me fluconazole for my infection ,3 pills in 3 days .should we skip or take it regular.because she told me take it wednesday ,thursday ,and sunday,,thank..
Avatar n tn Old Armour used dextrose (sugar) as a filler/binder, I felt better on it. Erfa uses dextrose, the new generic (Acella PN) uses dextrose.
Avatar m tn Certainly you should request that you not be given any IV fluids with sugar in them. The IV with sugar in them typically say "Dextrose" on the lable. The IV without sugar are typically lactated ringers, saline based solutions. Please also double check what they actually give you. I have had to tell nurses "no, this is not correct", and request them the ones without sugar.
Avatar m tn My son had a dextrose pleurodesis followed by a 5g talc pleurodesis the following week because the dextrose didn't hold up. He had a tough recovery because of muscle spasms in his lower chest. 9 months later, he hasn't fully recovered. He still has a tough time feeling comfortable doing basic stuff like watching a movie or drawing. He's constantly take deep breath because his lungs feels stiff and needs to lay down about 10x a day.
Avatar f tn Just finished the dextrose (I think that is what we are drinking) for the glucose test......orange flavor.....it is not as bad as everyone describes it on these boards. It tastes like a cheap juice from a gas station or corner store.
Avatar m tn Hi doctor my 5yrs old son complain of fever I took him to a clinic only to find out that he has calcium oxalate in his urine a scientist advice me to give him dextrose water intravenously that it help flush it out . I want know is it wise to use it? From lilian.
Avatar f tn I believe the itching was due to an chemical imbalance within the body as you stated (vitamins) in your original post. I am not sure but I know that fluconazole help.
Avatar f tn About two weeks ago I started getting intense itching in my vulva area with very runny, abnormal discharge. I went to the gyno and she said she didn't see any trichomoniasis under microscope, and didn't think I had a yeast infection. However, she prescribed me Metronidazole, and Fluconazole. I have just finished these medications, and I have one more Fluconazole to take next week. She also swabbed me for any STD's and everything came back negative.
Avatar m tn Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
Avatar f tn Usually a pharmacist is correct because they have a guideline that pops up that says do not take for these and they know medications so well. I work in a pharmacy, so I always ask them if it's safe to take anything during pregnancy because they know.
Avatar f tn I was just wondering if I'm getting the right amound of thyroid meds, I'm on Armour and for the past 6 weeks or so I've been cutting my pills in half, taking half in the morning and half around 3 but sometimes I'm late taking them, will this mess with my levels? Also They just fall apart so I chew them, are they absorbing that way? and I'm just wondering when I get my labs done the 31 will I be lacking due to this method of taking my meds?
Avatar f tn I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...
Avatar f tn ● PureVia contains dextrose, a carbohydrate found in fruits, and isomaltulose [found in honey and sugar cane juice]. Also contains glycoside. Gycoside is plant sugar converted to sugar and nonsugar substance. Doesn't appear safe for diabetics. ● Liquid "Sweet Leaf" Stevia has additives for flavoring. Google search turned up nothing on its ingredients. Other sweeteners found in foods [read nutrition label] but considered borderline safe and unsafe for diabetic consumption.
Avatar f tn Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!
Avatar m tn Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.
Avatar n tn It spread rapidly from my torso to my arms and legs, and my neck. I went to see a doctor, who prescribed Fluconazole (150mg, 1 capsule a week for 4 weeks). After a few days the lesions on my stomach began to fade, so I felt I was getting better. I have just taken my third Fluconazole pill. The bad news is that although some parts of my body are definitely better, new ringworm has appeared on my face in the last few days. What should I do? I'm hoping to see the doctor again soon.
Avatar f tn Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
Avatar f tn but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Avatar f tn He was also prescribed an antibacterial medicine, an antipyretic, a nutritional supplement gel and a dextrose powder. A few days after and he gained appetite and lost his fever. However, I noticed that his breathing is shallow and his abdominal muscles kept on contracting. He again lost his appetite but he never vomitted. At the end of last week, I brought him again to the vet. He was again checked and then injected with medicine for liver protection and to boost his immune system.
Avatar m tn A month ago I self diagnosed and treated a yeast infection based on my previous yeast infection (diagnosed by a doctor a few years ago). I treated with Monistat (miconazole)cream, which mostly cleared up my symptoms. I still felt somewhat irritated down there so I went to the doctor. She took a swab sample that came back negative for yeast/bacteria/gonorrhea/chlamydia.I felt fine for 2 weeks, then felt intense burning during intercourse . A few days after that, the itch was back.
Avatar f tn Hello ladies I look the pill Fluconazole because I think I have a yeast infection my OB gave me two Fluconazole pills last month but I only need one and I just took the other one today. Now I'm scared because I don't know if I could take this pill this late in my pregnancy I'm 39 week now. Have anyone ever took this pill after 35 weeks?
Avatar f tn Apparently I can consistently getting yeast infections due to hormonam imbalance. I'm afraid to overdose on the fluconazole. Is there a natural way of getting rid of it? I'm thinking cranberry juice but should I drink it once in a while or is there another alternative. Because I have to avoid sugar in order to fix my hormonal imbalance.
