I am on Plaquenil 400mg Metoprolol Tartrate 50mg BID, Proventil HFA 2puffs every 4 hours, Flovent Diskus 250mcg (started one week ago), Nasonex, Augmentin 875 BID. I have had no problems with my cardio selective Beta Blocker prior to catching this cold. I started having panic attacks and my bronchel tubes where getting hard to breath so i started back on Advair. I am going to get Flovent to replace it if i need it but i am really trying to get off all medications, eating better and living a

I am on Nexium 40mg a day, sometimes twice a day if I am on IV antibiotics (they always make my reflux very bad) along with inhalers and nebs (Flovent 220 mcg two puffs twice a day, Xopenex 1.25 mg neb every 6-8 hrs as needed, Singulair 10mg every day...

I sure hope that they find the right combination of meds for you. The thing with asthma is that symptoms can come on you pretty suddenly, they did with me especially in my 20's.
I have been prescribed Xoponex HFA and Flovent but I am afraid to take them because of the side effects that I experienced last time.

I had taken tylenol twice on top of my normal Flovent HFA and Albuterol HFA inhalers as needed. My whole family was ill, with 3/5 of us in the hospital for dehydration from vomiting so much. Three weeks back I had a Z pack for bacterial laryngitis and took tylenol then too. Those are the only medications I have taken. I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs.

All my previous symtoms returned and I feel like ****. So I switched to 137 mcg AND .50 mcg of levo. AND 25 mcg of cytomel and it doesn't seem to help. Last blood work numbers were, according to the DR. were:

Second try a different HFA inhaler my sister found that the method of distribution is best from Ventilin Our pulomologist said that he has had many patients complain that they do not get the relief they had before the inhalers were switched to HFA and he says Ventilin is the best for this.
Saw ENT, flexible scope up my nose foind vocal cords, larynx and cartlidge in my throat were swollen and airway was comprised.iv steroids,flovent 220 and breathing treatments. The ENT said GERD. I have been on protonix My GI says it is not GERD. ad endoscopyseveral months afo and was negative for GERD. The pulmonologist said it was laringer spasms and a viral infection in vocal cords. Hospitalized for 3 weeks. Home on 20 days of oral steroids, flovent and nebulizer treatments.

Within days of stopping the flovent again the rash was back, even worse than the first time. I strongly suspect that the flovent (or I should say stopping the flovent) is the cause of the rash and that the use of the flovent supresses it. The pediatrician had not heard of this and subsequently referred us to a dermatologist. I know if will take several weeks to get an appointment with the dermatologist.
