Avatar f tn Anybody has any idea- when is babies heart fully develop? before 18 weeks or after 23rd week?
Avatar f tn The baby only measured 1cm which from my research isnt as big as most are this far long however Im not panicking about that as Ive been told all fetal development is different. Ive also taken some comfort in how nauseated ive been which to me is a good sign, but not so fun! So as of now I am relaxed and excited!!
724730 tn?1280164904 With it being my first child, I am excited about looking up stages of development, but I am confused about whether they go by gestational age or weeks based on the first day of my last period. I would appreciate any clarity. There is so much happening in the development of the baby that two weeks makes a huge difference to what is happening in there!
Avatar f tn 20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok? The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.
Avatar f tn Does anyone get fetal hiccups a lot? It seems like my baby gets them a lot. It worries me because I can't remember my other two babies having them as much.
Avatar f tn No its not especially in the first trimester. Rapid development of babies major organs, brain and spinal cord happen in the first trimester. I hear some women have a small glass while pregnant personally I wouldnt but if you were to you should wait at least until the middle of the second trimester. Ask your doctor. It is currently not recommended that any alcohol be taken in while pregnant since FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome) is not completely understood on when and how it all happens.
Avatar n tn Choroid plexus cyst From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Choroid plexus cyst Classification and external resources ICD-10 G93.0 ICD-9 348.0 Choroid plexus cysts (CPCs) are cysts that occur within choroid plexus of the brain. The brain contains pockets or spaces called ventricles with a spongy layer of cells and blood vessels called the choroid plexus. This is in the middle of the fetal brain.
Avatar f tn Sorry to hear this. I had never heard of this and did some research. This is what I found. Hope it helps and prayers for you && the little one :) CPCs can form within this structure and come from fluid trapped within this spongy layer of cells, much like a soap bubble or a blister. CPCs are often called "soft signs" or fetal ultrasound "markers" because some studies have found a weak association between CPCs and fetal chromosome abnormalities.
623156 tn?1322865851 For women Zinc helps cell divsion which is critical to the earliest stages of conception and fetal development. For men it helps with adequate levels of testosterone and sperm counts. Research has shown with 15 mgs a day in men it can increase semen and testosterone production, in women it can help ovulation and fertility. Natural resources of Zinc are fish, oysters, crab, turkey, chicken and beef.
8171562 tn?1408628833 Aww I'm hoping everything goes well. I'm 23weeks2days. I go in for an ultrasound next week to check on my babies heart development and growth..all has been well so far but I still pray a lot that things continue to go good bc I worry a lot about my babies health. Stay strong momma..you and your baby will be just fine.
Avatar n tn In the early stages the fetal heart rate is approximately 80-85 bpm. However, by the 9th week the heart beat will be in the range of 155-195bpm. I looked this up and I hope it was helpful. Like bam said hearing it is a great sign, and your sisters babies isn't much lower than what they say. I wish her the best.
Avatar n tn But more importantly, once she does become pregnant, low thyroid hormones will definitely impact the developing fetus. The earliest stages of fetal development is the time when it is most critical for the mother to have sufficient thyroid hormone. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24015847 "Conclusion: Early TH [thyroid hormone] insufficiency from maternal hypothyroidism affects offspring hippocampal development and memory.
Avatar n tn Nope, babies heart beats change all the time. Its also not uncommon for early fetal heart tones to be higher then at later stages of the pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Fetal development continues together with hCG production. – Day 10: Fetal development continues together with hCG production. – Day 11: By this time onwards, hCG levels are high enough as to be detected by means of a pregnancy test. I hope this helps i i have been around for a long time. I have seen many less than stellar embryos turn into the most beautiful babies. keep faith. sending a ton of baby dust your way!
Avatar f tn Your Baby is still in the early stages of fetal development, & his or her bones/muscles are not strong enough to be noticeable quite yet. I thought maybe i had felt some around this time to but, turns out it was my own heart beating in my belly due to extra blood flow. I hate to sound discouraging :( You will however feel them between 18-20 weeks if you are a first time mom so, you really don't have to wait much longer!! The feeling is unmistakable :) hope this helps, goodluck!
Avatar m tn Puberty occurs in two separate stages, genital (penis and testicle) development and pubic hair development. We number each of these stages 1-5, 1 being child and 5 being adult. That means 2-3-4 are the stages of puberty. Depending on your development, a number is assigned to genital development (G) and a number is assigned to pubic hair development (P). For example, if you have just started growing hair you might be stage P2. It's possible to be P2 and still be G1.
Avatar f tn m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Avatar n tn First u/s and blood test on 9/24. The u/s showed a sac and yolk but no fetal pole. HCG level 28,100. 2nd u/s on 10/6. The u/s showed a sac, yolk and now “a group of cells which is the baby” (they did not use the term “fetal pole” and I’m not sure if it is the same thing or not). But now there was no hb detected. A midwife told me there was a “100% chance” my HCG levels would come back lower. My HCG level came back at 48,100. At both appts baby termed “non viable”.
Avatar f tn I took a child development course and ot went over all stages in pregnancy. Near the end of pregnancy babies practice flexing facial muscles as well as crying. They obviously do not breath and make noise in the womb so it is a diffrent type of crying but they absoloutly do practice crying. It is not known why but they do.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever had a sonogram and the fetal heart rate was b/w 88/90 in the early stages of ur pregnancy? I'm 6wks 2dys. If so, what was ur outcome? The doc scheduled me for another scan next week to have it rechecked.
