in the afternoon she did the ultrasound again for the heartbeat which she saying that its very low n fetal development is slow as it show that its 5 weeks 6 days n she said its not possible that our measurement is wrong so for sure its going towards miscarriage n she said we have to monitor your body till there is a heartbeat as i have no spotting or bleeding yet.

m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.

I just wanted to mention that sometimes when a child starts a therapy (especially if it is the first therapy for this child), you will notice a dramatic leap in skill development. Most of the time this levels off to a slower, but steady pace. Kind of like going on a diet; the first week you may lose lots of pounds but then the weight loss tapers off to something more steady that the body can handle.
I'm wondering if anyone has taken narcotics early in pregnancy.. Ie.Percocet/dilaudid. Long story stort, I was diagnosed with kidney stones septemper 18th and found out I was pregnant a week later. The baby was planned but the stones were not, haha. Anyway, after finding out I was pregnant I attempted to stop using the Percocets, but the kidney stone pain was too severe to be controlled by Tylenol Alone and I resorted back to taking Percocet for pain maganement.
The baby only measured 1cm which from my research isnt as big as most are this far long however Im not panicking about that as Ive been told all fetal development is different. Ive also taken some comfort in how nauseated ive been which to me is a good sign, but not so fun! So as of now I am relaxed and excited!!
So I finally received my Angelsounds fetal doppler from Groupon and I love it! it was less than $30 and I can hear just fine I'm 18+2.....it is a life saver and because of it I wont be diagnosed with false preeclamsia since my blood pressure is always high when I go to my appts due to fear lol

The sequential screen has a 5% false positive rate meaning 1 out of 20 times a positive screen for T21. If you screened positive, you are able to get the cell-free fetal DNA screen which has a sensitivity greater than 99%. As far as the abnormal PAPP-A, it can have a very small association with growth restriction. You will just need a 3rd trimester scan at about 32 wks to check fetal growth. Nothing to worry about. Ask your OB about the fetal DNA screen. It is just a blood draw from you.
If you break embryonic and fetal development into thirds then when you are in your 28th week the baby begins its final third of development. (Gestation is 266 days or 38 weeks of development). So either way you look at it you are in your 3rd trimester!
20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm
Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm
Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok?
The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.
There is no safe amount of alcohol you can drink. Fetal brain development damage can occur with just one drink.
