Klippel-fiel Syndrome is caused by a failure in the normal segmentation of the cervical vertebrae during the early weeks of fetal development. Features include a short neck, restricted mobility of the upper spine and a low hairline. Any of the cervical vertebrae can be involved but the commonest fusion is of C2,3 Clinical presentation is varied because of the many associated syndromes and anomalies that can occur.

I personally think it's selfish and foolish to drink during pregnancy. Your putting your baby's health at risk and fetal development during the first trimester is crucial. Any alcohol use during pregnancy can result in a child being born with FASD. To me it's not worth the risks.

m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? Gadolinium's worst side effect is the development of a debilitating, and sometimes deadly, disease called nephrogenic systemic fibrosis or nephrogenic fibrosing dermopathy in people with impaired renal function. But there have been anecdotal reports of people with no known kidney problems developing NSF/NFD after gadolinium use.
They do not have any long term studies to show the effects on fetal development. My current dr says the same thing, when pg stay clear of it as possible.
If there was one kidney, the fluid would be normal. Proper amounts of fluid are needed for proper lung development. Chronically low fluid leads to pulmonary hypoplasia which is underdeveloped lungs. Sorry, it cannot reverse itself. Only other diagnosis which I can think of is that your membranes ruptured and the fluid leaked out. Seeing the kidneys at 14 weeks with transabdominal ultrasound is difficult. The bladder can usually be seen though.
There are preferred opiates drugs that are use in patients with liver disease that have shorter half-lives and have less harmful side effects on the renal system. Your liver doctor should be aware of these drugs and be able to determine if you may be able to use them.
With regards to OTC medications, normal recommended doses of acetaminophen can be safely given to patients who suffer from cirrhosis in the short term.

Yes, that is too early to see a fetal pole or cardiac activity. In ten days, you should see a nice change with development of a little "grain of rice" with a tiny flickering heart beat. I wish you the best!
If you break embryonic and fetal development into thirds then when you are in your 28th week the baby begins its final third of development. (Gestation is 266 days or 38 weeks of development). So either way you look at it you are in your 3rd trimester!
