Avatar f tn If you would read on fetal development you would know a fetus stops moving around it's 16th week and won't begin to move till you're in your third trimester.
Avatar f tn Someone I know was leaarning fetal development in med school as I was going through my first trimester and I was told that was the most critical point in brain development. So my vote is no.
Avatar f tn The fetal heart undergoes a considerable amount of growth very early in pregnancy. The most critical period of its development is between three and seven weeks after fertilization, when a simple heart tube assumes the shape of a four-chambered heart. In fact, the heart actually begins beating by the 22nd day of life.
1300534 tn?1279121230 They say to track your fetal movements or fetal kicks. Does this mean any feeling, even the smallest or lightest flutter? Or does this only mean the kicks and very obvious movements?
Avatar f tn You hear about counting baby kicks and such. I read something like 10 kicks in an hour or something. My question is. .. how many times a day should you be able to count 10 kicks in an hour?
Avatar f tn m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Avatar f tn is it to early? i know im getting kicks now but this one i just had was strong i could realllly feel it under my rib...
Avatar f tn When do you usually start counting kicks and paying attention to fetal movement? I know the movements are irregular when you're not that far along because the baby is still little but I'm 23w4d with my 2nd daughter and i havent felt her move since last night and i just feel really fatigued and havent been hungry today. Probably just a growth spurt but i still get nervous.
Avatar n tn Im 24 weeks and my babyboy moves kicks two to three times a day but each time its abiut three kicks so i feel him any where from 6-9 kicks a day ..
Avatar f tn If you started to feel it at 20 weeks then you probably weren't wrong. I would wonder at first if it was baby or a gurgle in my tummy. Even now in the last month if kicks and movements aren't strong enough I wait till another to count for kicks. I didn't feel it consistently until about 26 weeks. Its funny that when people ask you a bunch it makes a person wonder if they are normal because the same question cones up again and again.
Avatar f tn I started feeling mine at 14 weeks, I am super sensitive for some reason to feeling them. Even in 2nd and 3rd pregnancies the earliest you can feel movement is 14 weeks the baby isn't big enough until then to start feeling them.
Avatar f tn Get the baby kicks app to count the movement... I've heard all is ok if baby does 10 kicks within 1 hr or 2 ...
1771240 tn?1314039879 Its normal to not have felt strong kicks yet. I wouldnt worry at this point.
1292761 tn?1333656271 At 22 weeks you would feel more so kicks instead of butterfly. However have they told you If you have an inverted placenta? Or if if you're busy a lot you may not feel them.
Avatar f tn But most people dont feel kicks and stuff til 18 weeks or more
4236200 tn?1352611176 I had a scare similar to yours while pregnant. My OBGYN told me to come in the office if i didn't feel my baby move since that is a sign that something could be wrong. Days had gone by & i didnt feel her move so i went into the office just to find out that she was sleeping away. Maybe your baby is resting. Growth & development does take a toll out on them. If you are worried something is wrong call your OBGYN.
Avatar f tn Hey ladies, I've been a nervous wreck at times and trying to not worry unnecessarily. I have a question about feeling baby move. I'm currently 24 weeks, almost 25. I started feeling baby move a few weeks ago but not all the time. About a week ago I could feel our little boy quite strongly, my hubby could feel him very clearly also. But the last few days it seems like it's harder to feel him and it's not as often as I did a week ago.
