I heard as early as 14 wks but the probability goes up if you wait longer. Do you not have a fetal photo or sneak peak ultrasound around you? They'll tell you.
I believe you are able to know the gender of the baby at four months, so sixteen weeks?
i had one at 13 weeks (growth and measurements, nuchal cord etc) and one at 20 weeks (organ development and gender determination). Those are pretty standard, were you told you'd only have two? I'd guess if you only have one more it'll be sometime between 16-20 weeks.
I went in for my ultrasound a couple days ago and the baby measures two weeks after my original due date. Should I change my due date on this app or leave it? The midwife didn't change it on my chart.
I'm 13 weeks and having a boy. I got a test done called Panorama at a private consultancy in Dublin, Ireland. They took bloods from me and a swab from my partner's cheek. They get the baby's DNA from my blood and test it for fetal abnormalities. It can be done from 9 weeks. Gender test is optional. The bloods are sent to California. There is another similar test called Harmony. The place I went is the Irish Maternal Fetal Fedaration.
I had an ultrasound done at what I thought was 5 weeks 5 days and a yolk sac was seen but no fetal heart or fetal pole seen, and a repeat ultrasound to be done 10 days from then. Is this normal to not see any fetal pole or heart at this stage? The ultrasound tech said she wouldnt put me at 5 weeks 5 days.
I was contemplating on getting a regular ultrasound @ a place like this JUST to know the gender at 14wks. What do you think?
m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Normally 20 weeks...I will be having my fetal atomony and fetal growth ultrasound next Monday, although I already know from a previous ultrasound I'm having another boy.
They can tell you the gender, as long as baby cooperates. They're also looking at baby's overall development, making sure there is nothing noticeably wrong to cause concerns. Measuring femur, looking at facial development, heart development, head and abdominal measurements.
My doctors office has a gender reveal ultrasound you pay just a $50 fee. this ultrasound is completed before the 20 week ultrasound. It was completely worth it!!
20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm
Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm
Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok?
The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.

Choroid plexus cysts (CPCs) are cysts that occur within choroid plexus of the brain. The brain contains pockets or spaces called ventricles with a spongy layer of cells and blood vessels called the choroid plexus. This is in the middle of the fetal brain.
Its on old wives tales that u can predict gender by heartrate. The only way to do that is via ultrasound. Good luck.
They can try but baby isnt always fully formed that early. Its usually near 20 weeks they tell you. And not every doctors appointment is an ultrasound.

You will most likely go for another ultrasound around 18-22 weeks(routinely done to look for fetal anomalies) this is when most mommas find out the gender... i think you can see the gender as early as 16 weeks tho...

CPCs can form within this structure and come from fluid trapped within this spongy layer of cells, much like a soap bubble or a blister. CPCs are often called "soft signs" or fetal ultrasound "markers" because some studies have found a weak association between CPCs and fetal chromosome abnormalities.
