Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? Is it reasonable to assume, given my negative gonorrhea and chlamydia tests at three days post-exposure, and development of symptoms only after sex with my wife (at 22-23 days), that there is nothing that I communicated to my wife?
Second ultrasound at 8w 6d showed gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole measuring 5 1/2 weeks, but no heartbeat.
I'm scheduled for a third ultrasound next wed, which would be 10weeks, and if there's no hb, it's over
Is this possible - to be almost 3 weeks behind? My dates can't be that far off!
Also, my doc did the 2 ultrasounds in the office, but gave me the option to have the 3rd at the hospital. Is there any benefit to that, vs having my doc do it?
