I was just wondering cause a friend of mine is 12 weeks and said they told her there were girl parts today at her ultrasound. I think that's way too early to tell so I was just wondering.

I had IVF and my first ultra sound was at 5 weeks 1 day. The only thing we could see was two sacs. I believe it was just the gestational sac. Then the following week at 6 weeks 1 day, my doc saw the yolk sacs as well on both babies (twins), and saw the hearts beating on the monitor. Ultrasound at 7 weeks showed their growth progress and we heard the hearts beating via ultrasound. So don't get discouraged. Every pregancy is different.

(I'm 27 werks)... they don't do that for everybody..BUT since this time around I have lakes of blood in my placenta and high blood pressure (both are associated with low birth weight) they want to make sure my baby girl is growing at the rate she should be... ive measured 5 days smaller from the beginning...

20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok? The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.

The tech seemed skeptical, but after reviewing the transvaginal ultrasound my doctor said that she would like to wait another week and perform another ultrasound and go from there. I still have all the symptoms, and two weeks ago there was just a sac no visiable fetal pole. Is there still hope? I have been through two miscarriages and waiting another week is like sitting on pins and needles.

Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? Easier said than done especially since every little thin make you want to worry. I mc at 10 weeks the first time, then had two small mcs (not sure how to describe - would have all the symptoms but ten would get my period with clotting) Now I'm currently 24 weeks with a healthy baby and I'm so thankful. Jus eat wen you are hungry, sleep when tired, etc.

ve since than taken about ten of them in two weeks for back pain. Two every other day out so as needed. And I was wondering if it can hurt the baby in any way??.

they dont want the baby to be to big...and the ultrasound most people have to check the fetal size is a fetal size and development ultrasound to see how your baby is developing and so im pretty sure that if they were concerd about the development and baby not being fully developed they wouldnt change the due date.

I just talked to my nurse about this yesterday, she said we should start tracking fetal movements at 28 weeks. My baby girl does this sometimes and im 23 weeks. Jus give her some more time. Shes probably just in a really comfy position.

Second ultrasound at 8w 6d showed gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole measuring 5 1/2 weeks, but no heartbeat. I'm scheduled for a third ultrasound next wed, which would be 10weeks, and if there's no hb, it's over Is this possible - to be almost 3 weeks behind? My dates can't be that far off! My HCG had gone from 7500 to 16000 in 48 hours and from my LMP I should have been 7 weeks 6 days, but the u/s showed just a sac, no yolk sac, no fetal pole, no heartbeat. I was online constantly researching u/s's, fetal development, and what I should have seen (the fetal pole, the yolk sac). Almost everything I read online pointed towards miscarriage, or me having my dates wrong (which is impossible because the last time I had sex was the given conception date).

I personally think it's selfish and foolish to drink during pregnancy. Your putting your baby's health at risk and fetal development during the first trimester is crucial. Any alcohol use during pregnancy can result in a child being born with FASD. To me it's not worth the risks.

You should read up about the risks of having your baby at 37 weeks. A lot is still going on with your babys development right now.

I had a positive ffn at 29 weeks, and here I am still pregnant at 38 weeks. I had a short cervix and 1.5cm dilated 30% effaced at 29 weeks. Was put on strict bed rest up to 34 weeks. Then just regular bed rest.

i was asked to come back in two weeks for a viability scan and see if the yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat are all there. whew!!!! two weeks is too long for me to wait! i can hardly sleep now and i feel like the pregnancy symptoms are beginning to go away..i am getting paranoid i guess. HELP!
