549681 tn?1229724499 OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.
Avatar f tn Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
Avatar f tn My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!
Avatar f tn Hi! Yeah..i have 3 of them. Mine live outside too.. they used to live inside..but it was just too much.. lol Mine used to live with my goats too, they were buddies. Dont have the goats anymore though.. bummer. Anyways.. thanks for replying!
Avatar f tn We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
Avatar f tn i went to white waters today n we were standing in line n all the sudden i got real hot n dizzy.my eats felt real wierd n my vision got blurry for a couple seconds n i felt nauses.it really concerned me because i have never felt that before.i felt like i was going to pass out.
Avatar n tn I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn the same way those fainting goats do before they fall over. Again, it only lasts for a few seconds so he maintains balance.
Avatar f tn IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!
976897 tn?1379167602 The genes for producing the protein to make silk in spiders has been found and spliced into goats. The milk produced by the goats contains lots of the protein so the silk can be produced in large quantities. Why? well the silk is the strongest thing in nature or made by humans. It can be used to repair tendons for example. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You can use online software and create your own dna.
Avatar f tn So I had a pretty serious run in this weekend. After a night of doing a fair amount of coke (like 7/8 lines over 6 hours) and drinking a fair amount (probably 4/5 drinks over that same period) I was out and about feeling tired and little bit funny. I stopped to get some food and I fainted. I've never fainted before and it was really really scary (enough to make me flush what I had left down the toilet).
Avatar f tn I was poked in the eye yesterday by my goats horn. It bled a little bit yesterday, but it has since stopped. My eye is swollen, sore and bloodshot. Is there any need to go to a doctor? If so, would I see a doctor or optometrist?
Avatar f tn AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.
203342 tn?1328737207 We have a friend who's father passed out two Sundays in a row at Sunday school. They took him to the hospital the first time and ran a bunch of tests and couldn't find anything wrong with him. They did say his blood pressure was a little low. He refused to go to the doctor the second time saying they couldn't find anything wrong the first time. We can't figure out why he keeps passing out while in Sunday school.
11928406 tn?1431049111 might be a Weird question but is it safe to drink goats milk while pregnant?
Avatar f tn Gluten, peanuts, artificial sweeteners, regular milk (use almond milk) (I have also found a local dairy/farm that carries fresh goats milk and cows milk, so we are giving the goats milk a try which is high in protein and tast great with no hormones or preservatives) and sugar are avoided as much as possible (fungal and blood sugar issues with these). Eat REAL food with high protein as much as possible.
Avatar n tn The risk of listeria in soft cheeses and raw milk has me scared.
Avatar f tn I wake up every morning with indigestion burping, nueasa, oh yeah I used to spell real good but now since my short term memory is bad I can't spell no more so please excuse my spelling. Every time I eat or have to go I get severe cramps in either my stomach or lower abdomen. I'm so scared to eat. My appetite is real lousy and I only eat once a day I force myself. Sometimes there is heartburn.
Avatar f tn His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!
Avatar n tn Eye movements at times gives me a sensation or feeling of dizziness or the initial faint like feeling, without fainting or continuous dizziness. Seems stop when looking ahead. This doesn't happen regularly, but when it does it can last a few days, then goes away. Sometimes a mild headache comes and goes. I read of someone with similar issues dated sometime 2013, but no real good suggestions or answers. I have asked regular MD, but no real answer either.

1286779 tn?1400012806 Low carb high protein for sure helps. Eat low glysemic index. foods and stay away from highly processed foods and sugars. Eat real food and organic as much as you can. We also avoid gluten and only eat cereal, oats, bread, crackers, pasta and snacks that are gluten free. We also use raw goats milk from a local dairy farm, in our cereal and eat organic meats and eggs (farm fresh) as much as possible. These are all working well for my daughter who is nine and born without a thyroid gland.
Avatar f tn Goats milk is really comparable to breastmilk honestly I don't like formula it stinks and makes babies throw up more and stains. Goats milk is natural and a little more expensive if you can find it.
503418 tn?1231098736 But your survival instincts are primitive and do ont know this so they produce very very real symptoms which can and do include palpitations, dizziness and many many more. So the good news is that it is easy to swith this off by reversing the process. Simply breathe slowly and regularly so that you can feel your abdomen slowly rising and falling. This sends the right nessages and the'fight or flight' respnse id turned off and your body will return to normal.
Avatar f tn Also you can find an all natural lotion at some specialty drug stores and online called Two Old Goats. It works fabulously on nerve pain!
Avatar n tn My husband has been having fainting episodes...he was in the hospital for 5 day with every test done in the book (MRI's, CAT's, EXG's, EEG's, Tilt Table, Blood work etc) all negative. But he faints when he is doing nothing out of the ordinary (making a sandwich, sitting on the couch, while at work etc.) We have spoken to numerous Dr.'s and have not been given any real diagnosis. I was wondering if anyone else has had this prob & what did you do to solve it.
666921 tn?1254990618 Lyme of course complicates all these things, so do talk with your Lyme doc about your BP issues. It is a real thing and not *at all* in your head.
