I have never read anything that say the two can't be used at the same time. I just checked again, nothing shown as an interaction. I am not a doctor, only going by what I've read so you may want to ask your doctor to be safe.
i've done some more research on this drug. as far as i know, the fortwin with promethazine injection isn't available in the US. both drugs can be found in different oral preparations, though.
your mom seems to be dealing with chronic pain. as a hazard of treating chronic pain, there is always the very real risk of addiction. in a true chronic pain sufferer, addiction may be someone one just has to learn to manage rather than conquer.
Is there any type of chemotherapy treatment which would involve a shot to the abdomen? I'm not referring to the IP treatment, but simply a quick injection. Doesn't chemotherapy need to go into the veins? In the case of ovarian cancer, is there a topical chemo that can be applied & if so would that require surgery or an injection? My daughter in law is getting a weekly abdominal shot, supposedly for stage 2 ovarian cancer, but I'm not confident about this treatment.
I take my chemo treatment on Friday morning and do not get the Neulasta injection until Mon. morning. Is there a problem by waiting this long for the injection?
I am a previous non-responder and have injected myself before so the injection is not an issue. Pinch some waist fat and inject. lol. Anyway, what I want to know for the very first injection, should I take the Telaprevir first and when? Should I take the Peg injection first and then start the drugs and in what order. I know I take the Telaprevir 8 hours apart with the correct grams of fat, RIBA twice a day 600x2 for 1200 and the injection once a week.
because the drug has a half life of pretty much one week...if we are lucky...so im thinkn it wise to connect the 2 shots as as close as possible....sort of like the BOC...you have to be dead on time the blue bombers just did # 32...
How do you determine whick injection therapy works best, by trial and error? My Neurologist gave me books on three of them: Rebif, Copaxone, and Avonex.
"IV drug user" on wikipedia is same article with "drug injection." I know it means injection to bloodstream by using the same syringe each other. I would like to know if it's the same when I was injected by a doctor.
LET'S SAY that one situation the doctor unconsciously pricks the IV drug syrigne to his finger when preparing rinse the medicine from a bottle, then use it to inject the patient. Is as risk as the way IV drug user does?
Before that, nurse did a inject test for testing me if I would be allergy to the penicillin drug of transfusion. I saw nurse take a plate of syringes with hypodermic injection needle from icebox. Unfortunately, I didn't see whether she wipe off the inject needle or not.
But I watch she push out some drops of liquor through needle before injecting.
Nurse told me that the syringe of testing liquor will be changed per day, the needle will be changed when the new injection test be acquired.

Have a question which I'm curious to know. I know that except having sex, hiv can be transmitted by drug injection-"immediate use from one to other one." Then, I'd like you all to teach me that if it's different between drug injection and get cut by razor or knife.
Suppose that the one who is hiv poz shaves and he gets cut; I then use it immediately and also get cut as well.

No way to tell for sure. The easy thing to do would be have you family Dr order a HepCAnti-Body blood draw on the next annual physical. That should be done by baby boomers (and older) at least once, anyway, according to the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease. This is a very inexpensive test.
If the anti-body test comes back negative, everthing is fine and you can just forget about it. The body, once exposed to HepC will always have anti-bodies.

Getting control on the right-for-you medication is not easy. I have beed T2D since 2007 and have been on a number of different Meds, some of which seemed to work but then longer term had problems. You must keep you chin up and work with your dr. to find the best contol for you.

Tonight was my 4th injection and I pushed the plunger to a little more than 180 which is supposed to be my dose. Is this is a problem? What else is in the pre-filled syringe and is the max amount 180 of interferon?
hi im 33 and my last depo injection was feb 2010 iv only had 2 injections im now trying for a baby but had no signs of a period!!! is there anything i could get from the doctors to help??? just its been over a year with no period!!!

And since HIV is still extremely rare among heterosexual men in the US without other risk factors (e.g. injection drug use), it is very unlikely your partner has HIV. I see no need for HIV testing on account of this event. But of course you're free to do that if these words don't completely resolve your fears and you need a negative test result for additional reassurance.
I'm a rank beginner at this (just did my 6th injection) so I'd appreciate experienced opinions. My Support Services weekly injection map/planner has only 4 sites for each arm, 8 for the hips, 10 for the thighs and 19 in the abdomen. That seems excessively burdensome for the arms and not using the abdomen enough.
