Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

I wondered about the possible link when I read about the connection between OI and CFS introduced in 1995 by Peter Rowe, MD, and associates at Johns Hopkins University. I think his slides also mention fibromyalgia. The other research I came across in his slides regards joint over flexibility that seems to be quite common in fibromyalgia patients. I think Rowe speculated on a related over flexibility in veins (though I am no longer sure here, it has been a while since I read the documents).
My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?

She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about.
Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause.

John, I can't emphasize enough that surgery be your absolute last resort. I had a 4 Level Laminectomy 7/07/04 and from the 7th day after surgery lying in the back seat of a neigbors car going to see the surgeon. The pain from that day was 3 times prior to surgery when I was taking Percoset 10/325 (4) times a day. Today the pain has completely encompassed my whole lower body waist down Lumbar, Hips, Buttox, Legs and yes Abdomen.

It seems that your body is telling you that it can not handle the abuse anymore. You did not specify what kind of pain you are having, but if it is difficult for you to breath, it may be your chest. Cocaine causes constriction of all blood vessels including those in your heart and lungs. That leads to diminished blood supply to your heart muscle as the drug also causes it to beat faster and harder causing possible ischemia.
that's interesting--I had never considered it for dysautonomia. When my younger son was diagnosed with ITP when he was a toddler, that was a treatment commonly used. It hadn't occurred to me that it could be helpful with this, though. I'm going to ask Dr. Rowe about it when we see him.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

No, it was a plastic 20-oz soda lid. It has those tiny little ridges in it, but no sharp edges. He's been itchy on and off for a few days now but I don't remember him complaining about that before.
He has seen a dermatologist about the stretch marks. She concurred that they were nothing to worry about and were probably caused by his rapid growth. He grew a HUGE amount in a very short time (something like 10 inches in a year).
He has not had his cortisol level tested.
