exelon

Avatar n tn Exelon is the only patch. There are medications that can be taken by mouth. I work at a health care facility and we continue to get the patches. Have you checked with other pharmacies?
Avatar f tn Often she has had angry outbursts over the past few years also, has been afraid of descending stairways, falling, and dark places. Mother is in her late 90s now, but this has been going on for over 10 years. Recently she went to see a neurologist who took a blood test and ordered a brain scan. THis doctor told her that her brain is shrinking and that she does not have Alzheimer's disease. However, he prescribed Aricept for her to take.
Avatar n tn My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar n tn Hi Thanks for writing to the forum! There is a chance that your father suffers from both insomnia and oversleeping. The first night he has a disturbed sleep , hence he sleeps over the next day. The other possibility is that he is depressed. You can go over this link for signs of depression in elderly: http://www.eldercare.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=CG_Resources&file=article&sid=958 Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar n tn My wife aged seventy, has had a persistent nausea problem since about February 2008. She wakes up in the morning and feels fine...until she starts to move around. The nausea stays with her until she has some food and liquid in her stomach. Many times, it subsides, but comes back when she moves around again. All her tests EGD, Cat Scan, MRI, etc turn out normal. Hida Scan showed her gall bladder to be very small and only 10% operative, so she had it removed about two months ago.
Avatar f tn If I were you, I would either get a new physician in order to get a 2nd opionion or go to the ER. If you have lost 65 pounds in 4 months and are not tryign to most likely there is a cause behind this. Don't give up until you get an answer, it is the only way for you to feel at ease is to get a diagnosis....
Avatar f tn I got laid off at my job and have no insurance what can I do to get some help in PA.
Avatar n tn Apart from treatment of the cause or in conditions wherein the cause remains unknown, in such conditions Drinking lot of water and taking proper oral hygiene will help you. You can take citrus juices, lemonade and foods marinated in vinegar, salt water gargling, proper brushing etc. You can use scented wax or incense sticks before sleeping. You also need to maintain good sleep hygiene. I suggest you to consult ENT specialist to rule out the cause. Take care and regards.

Avatar m tn I know of one Dr in PA...Western Pa and not sure if her checks for EDS either and places a mesh plate as well.....because of Drs not really being well informed or experienced in PA I went out of state. In the last few years I have heard some talk about a Dr at Hershey....but I was never given a name. But I am sure it was a peds Dr.
475300 tn?1312423126 Well I just found out that malpractice laws in Pa are this......A person has 7 years from when it happened (or) a patient SHOULD have been informed that they (me) were positive for hep C to file suite. My GP tested me in 1997 and never told me & that has really been bothering me that I could have done many things a lot differently. He treated me for everything under the sun, physical therapy, fibromyalgia, and I always had elevated liver enzymes, he even had an ultrasound done on my liver.
