That recently started happening to me when i hit 18 weeks ,i wake up with a rather unpleasant taste in my mouth and dry throat

I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in late January after I had my last baby, and was really sick I had to have the tumour removed so now ever since the surgery I have no sense of smell, and my taste is gone as well I can only taste sweet, salty, or spicy no flavours of any kind I am discouraged to eat anything, and have lost so much weight.
t get better, and I have the most disgusting taste in my mouth as well as my nose.. I GOT ANTIBIOTICS I already took one, but does anyone know usually when the nasty odor goes away?
how unpleasant is that !!! But Im learning now, what I can eat and what I cant, I found a really good web page that gives menus by day which is Fantastic. So I cooked up tons yesterday, so I can just microwave my meal, and still cook for my family. The thing I hate most is the lump in my throat feeling ? does that ever go away ?? if not, do you get used to it... as I hate it, and the taste in my mouth is quite unpleasant...
I know viruses can change how things smell and taste for a while. If things taste weird or horrible, we don’t eat. Maybe that’s what the body needs for a short while, fluids and a little bland food only. I remember going down with some germ a few years ago. Everything tasted unpleasant and ready meals for microwaving were especially disgusting. It put me off them for weeks! Perhaps my body was trying to tell me something.

On medication for all above. Lost my sense of smell/taste about 1 year ago, apparently due to several bad bouts of sinusitis. Most recently am experiencing symptoms much like phantosmia; unpleasant odors much like cat box or spoiling meat. No one else smells this. Rather disconcerting and frustrating. Is there a possibility I'm re-gaining my sense of smell? Or is this a permanent situation?

The material (acrylic?) in the roof of my mouth stings my tongue and has an unpleasant taste. After sleeping with my mouth closed I wake up nauseous from the taste and smell. Applying warm compresses to my cheeks for the swelling exacerbates the taste and smell. What do I do? Request new dentures from different material?
