My doctor has put me on medication . I'm taking progesterone capsules, HCG injections and aspirin delayed release tablets .What r they supposed to do and how does it help my baby? I had a chemical pregnancy in July and I'm now 6w3d pregnant.

i am pcos and trying to conceive i tried 50mg of clomid and last 100mg now my doctor wants to try provera again because my period want start on its own when my period start he wants me to take estradiol on day 3 it that oral medication or an injectables what does it really means

what will happen once i stop taking oral estradiol i stopped yesterday after taking 1 1 mg tablet a day for 3 weeks cuz of bleeding and bad cramps

embryo transfer and I have been having severe pain in left ovary mainly. Is pain a side effect with this particular medication? I tend to have menstrual cramps on my left side but this medication has made it severly painful. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've read somewhere that estradiol (I'm on the patch) can increase your T4. Has anyone else heard this? Also, that time of day and fasting can affect TSH. I'm going for TSH, FT4, and FT3 tomorrow. Thanks!

its been my 4th gonal pen actually but im just confused about the outcome..yesterday ive got very low estradiol..considering im on my 9th shots and still no sore BBs,cramping..w/c is very confusing..bec with my previous cycle last oct when i took my very first shots-im getting this feelings of crampings/sore bbs..is it possible that i get different reactions but using the same injectibles/same dosage..im just curious up to now..

I want enough estradiol in me to make sure I can string a sentence together, avoid depression, have a sex drive, have better word retrival, have strong bones, less moodiness, have good heart function, no cramping in legs (the worst when I am low in my estradiol)... no foot problems (yes... when estradiol was too low for a few years...bad doc's advice... yuk,... I ended up having to have surgery on both feet).. no joint pain... I could go on and on and on.

Dr, I recently started the Chinese Herbal Medicine treatment for fertility, focusing on tonifying kidney and boosting circulation. The latest Day3 blood test shows an elevated Estradiol above 70 and lowered FSH around 6, compared to my test last year's level of FSH around 8 and Estradiol in mid 40's. I am 39 years old.

He does not believe in that, and he order some to tests. I went for estradiol test which is 78. Not sure if my estrogen is too low. I will have progesterone test in one more week. My FSH is 8.3 . My doctor mentioned that while in menopause, it is common to need more thyroid hormone replacement since I have no thyroid to compensate. Since I am taking estradiol and progesterone and seem to be doing much better since it was adjusted three weeks ago, could I possibly need less armour than I did before?

I always thought that the estradiol was to make sure your lining was thick enough for implantation. Because I now the drugs like clomid can thin your lining making it impossible for the egg to implant. I could be wrong though.

How long after a confirmed pregnancy are you suppose to continue taking Estradiol? Just read on the internet that it can cause birth defects and I can't reach my doctor to confirm this.

m not big on taking any kind of medication unless its absolutely necessary. I realize it has its benefits and risks and I want to consider all of that when I make my decision. I've noticed on this forum that some people are taking the patch that contains estradiol. I've been doing some research and have also read some very good things about the estrogen hormone (E3) called estriol. Does anyone have any experience with that hormone.

Normal estradiol is about 400 per mature follicle. 30 follicles is quite a high number, so they may also be watching to make sure you don't hyper-stimulate. How high do they want your estradiol to be? Did they even tell you what your current level is? Mine was about 4000 before they scheduled retrieval. Hope this info helps...

As soon as I stop the medication, the problem come back. I had almost 10 times of transfusion during the time, my latest hB rate was 3.8. On 2010, one doctor diagnosed me that I'm having fibroid, yet he didn't give me any medication and just ask me to lose weight. Another doctor told me that I'm having fibroid. Three months ago I was switched by my OBGYN to the oral contraceptive pill Loestrin ( a combination of norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol). t see any measurable follies until day 7 or so of that cycle. Ended up with one egg that cycle and estradiol level of 250 something. That was a bust cycle. This cycle (only my second one on Follistim) he started me at 150iu a night and BOY did I respond. I am on 200 mg prometrium /5 mg estradiol, and metformin as well as tirosint. The prometrium and estradiol is for hot flashes. The metformin for prediabetes, couldn't get my a1c down, and tirosint for thyroid disease.
