lovenox

Avatar n tn In one study, 50 women with thrombophilia (including 20 factor V Leiden heterozygotes) and recurrent pregnancy loss were treated with enoxaparin throughout 61 subsequent pregnancies. The live birth rate was 75% with enoxaparin prophylaxis, compared to 20% in prior untreated pregnancies [Brenner et al 2000].
Avatar n tn It turns out that portal vein and superior mesenteric vein are thrombosed. They put her on enoxaparin and wanted her to rest for 5 days until the next control. She refused to be put on heparin or warfarin because of her history of gastrointestinal bleeding and recent surgery. We've been told thrombectomy would be extremely risky, given her medical history. I read somewhere enoxaparin only prevents further occlusion of the vein and does not lyse existing clot.
Avatar m tn I am 27 weeks pregnancy and have dvt, start to using CLEXANE(ENOXAPARIN) I am really worried is there any harm to my baby Thanks & Rgards
Avatar n tn continue through with warfarin, or to stop the warfarin and bridge in between with enoxaparin or heparin (as snconorm had done). http://www.circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/full/116/22/2531 So continuing through with warfarin seems to be the newer strategy. What would NOT be done is to stop anticoagulation altogether.
Avatar f tn Yes I'm on the generic enoxaparin. I was on it with my first and forth (all 4 pregnancies were miscarriages). Now I'm on it again since 3 1/2 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn s office - mn gastro just called to say that Target/Triessent cannot supply this med as the manufacturer does not have it. I am terrified - need the procrit to complete last 12 weeks of tx -- can anyone help me out with this?
Avatar f tn I have been on progesterone suppositories, baby asprin, folic acid, prenatal vitamins and enoxaparin.
Avatar m tn Thanks Teak It was taken in Hong Kong but test description only says-Hiv1/2 Ag/Ab (by CMIA), hence I wished to enquire about manufacturer. Not sure if any one other than Abbott manufactures 4th generation CMIA test The test was done from old and well known lab prescribed by my doctor.
Avatar n tn Can changing the manufacturer on your medicine cause them to lose effectiveness or how they are making you feel? Our insurance changed, and when it did I had to go to mail order meds. Since I've had to change, I have been struggling with my moods like I did before medication. (not quite as severe, but it's been a few years since my moods have taken such a severe dive) Any advice or thoughts would be so welcomed. I cannot handle feeling like this much longer.............
Avatar f tn I have been with the same manufacturer of metoprolol succinate for 2 years and had no problems and now they went out of business and the new manufacturer of the same medication isn't working for me!
Avatar f tn If so, what manufacturer makes it? Muscle weakness from Baclofen has been very difficult for me and I am injuring muscles more. In the past, Northstar and Upsher made pills that didn't weaken the muscles as much, but then they changed the formula. Now they weaken muscles far more. Or if you take Baclofen from another manufacturer that does cause significant weakness, tell me which one that is.
Avatar f tn The problem comes in when pharmacies buy from different manufacturers. They changed the manufacturer of my T3 med, once and I went downhill in a hurry. I had tell them, which manufacturer I will accept T3 med from, so they flagged my account accordingly. As MichyDevon said, each manufacturer uses different fillers/binders to which you could react adversely. If you find one that you do well on, there shouldn't be any reason not to take it, so long as your doctor is okay with it.
Avatar n tn Please refer to the testing instructions included with your test by the manufacturer. Since no one would ever bother running the test without swabbing, this question is hypothetical. If you have questions about whether you followed all instructions, you can review the instructions, contact the manufacturer of the test, or discuss with your physician.
612551 tn?1450022175 In particular, people taking fish oil or long-chain omega-3 fatty acid (EPA and DHA) supplements in combination with anticoagulant drugs, including aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), dipyridamole (Persantine), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid) and warfarin (Coumadin), should have their coagulation status monitored using a standardized prothrombin time assay (INR).
Avatar f tn Well I have no idea what test it was or who was the manufacturer and to approach my lab and ask them and then email the manufacturer etc seems like too much of a process. So that’s why I came here as I’ve seen lots of people ask similar questions so I assumed you guys have the knowledge. So just to be absolutely sure, anaemia doesn’t affect an antigen/antibody test right?
Avatar m tn They depend on the test kit that the lab used to carry out the assay, and they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Avatar m tn Acon labatories is the manufacturer and distributor of medical diagnostic rapid tests , the " lot " refers to the lot number .A lot number is an identification number assigned to a particular quantity or lot of material from a single manufacturer.
Avatar m tn You can check with the pharmacy but it's the same medication, has the same effect on HCV and works within the same time frame. The big difference is the mg whereas the Ribasphere tab is 600 mg and the Copegus is 200 mg. Binding ingredient plays no role in the effectiveness of the drug. Sticking with one mfg may cut down on confusion. At least you'll know how much you took if you have the same type pills in the pill box.

Avatar m tn Doubt it but ask the manufacturer. Also make sure it was long enough from the last unprotected vaginal or anal sex for the test to be definitive. Oral doesn't count because it is not a risk.
Monkey I am currently on Sertraline, 200 mg.
Avatar m tn s due to the different location because they come from the same manufacturer. Have you checked the bottles to make sure they are identical as far as the description? I often switch pharmacies due to the wait and haven't noticed any difference in the med's.
