enablex

1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn can someone please tell that which medicine works best for OAB ........VESICARE,ENABLEX OR DETROL LA..........I m male and 29 yrs old ,can i also take detrol la.....Any response should be highly appreciated..........
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar f tn I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
Avatar m tn this when I had my post op Appt I never truely got an answer then I went back to her she gave me some Enablex that never truely help with the no sensation to urinate nor the having feeling when having sex can some one tell me what is going on?
Avatar n tn I have had several episodes of not being able to make it to the bathroom and have also wet the bed several times. My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.
Avatar f tn he has done urodynamics and also looked into my bladder through scope and said that nothing is wrong with my bladder and urthera,he first gave me vesicare for a month than enablex but condition still remains the same ,then i went to another general phyisican he sent me for x-ray of my lower back, results came out negative.my urlogist told me to go to neurolgist...
Avatar n tn I have had good luck with ice packs and/or hot compresses. I have been diagnosed with interstitial cystitus and irritable bowel characterized by chronic constipation. My gastroenterologist believe this symptom is bowel related...I have never discussed it with my urologist, but as suggested by helstrom I will! corndog, a urologist diagnoses and treats interstitial cystitis. IC is chronic inflammation of the bladder lining.

1714202 tn?1352672419 m on lamictal, abilify, and ativan. Does anyone know the interactions mixing those with alcohol? Any help would be great thanks!
Avatar f tn One day, the patient admitted with alcohol withdrawal syndrome. He does not drink alcohol since 3 days ago. He suffer restless then I injected diazepam 10 mg iv ! In a few min, he got like gasping and then dead by respiratory arrest ! I did CPR but can't revive ! So can I give Diazepam to the patient who is suffering from alcohol withdrawal ? Advise me pls !
Avatar n tn That's 3500 mg of acetaminophen which isn't a huge amount. It is quite a bit if taken at one time though but to be honest I have taken much more than that at once and for a extended period of time. Luckily I didn't do any damage to my liver or kidneys. You should be just fine since you haven't made a habit out of it. As I'm sure you know, mixing alcohol with acetaminophen is a very bad combination so make sure you don't do that again.
Avatar m tn I’m not trying to convince anyone that they should or shouldn’t use alcohol with cooking. If it makes you nervous, don’t use it. There are alternatives. I choose to use it and seriously don’t see enough alcohol used to make a difference. ”. As far as damaging the liver, I don’t see it. I respect what Boobert stated “i'm 10 years sobor next month and vowed never to taste alcohol again”.
Avatar n tn I had back surgey in April from a broken bone in the back, since then I had bladder problems, diagnosed with interstitial cysttitis.....years ago I had a bladder sling put in and in July the doctor did a bunch of tests and examined me and said the sling was still in place. The uroligist put me on Enablex which has been working, and I am due to go back in two weeks......yesterday, I started feeling almost swelled up at the opening of the bladder.....
Avatar n tn About 2 years ago I started having problems with incontinence once in awhile. It has been getting worse lately. Probably about 6 months ago it progressed to not always making it to the bathroom and it got to the point where I was going so much I cut my intake of anything liquid (which doesn't work by the way). I went to my regular family physician about a month and a half ago and mentioned my problem among everything else and this is what I was told.
Avatar m tn I am scheduled this Friday (the 19th of Feb) for a cystoscope/with dmso...which is how I was diagnosed with IC to beging after this procedure back 06 I had some pain for the first couple of days....but, it helped a great deal...but, I am uncertain as rather the Vesicare and/or the Elmiron is causing my blood pressure to raise....or if it is the combination of the two medications.... I have tried Detrol and Detrol LA and, neither of those help me....
Avatar n tn For two months Detrol LA was added without any change in my symptoms either. Now I have been given Enablex 7.5 mg and after a week I am still waking up every 2 hours with the sensation of pressure in my bladder. I am very frustrated and would appreciate any suggestions.
Avatar f tn I know not intake alcohol spike pregnant, but when you cook with it... does the alcohol evaporate just leaving you with the flavor? If so, I wanna make some.
Avatar n tn You definitely should not be drinking alcohol with this combination of drugs. You're taking a high dose of xanax - that alone with alcohol would cause the effects of the alcohol to be exacerated. Mixing the two could also be fatal. Both are central nervous system depressants. Drinking alcohol may also increase your risk of certain Abilify side effects, such as drowsiness or low blood pressure (when sitting or standing up). You may also be more sensitive to the effects of alcohol.
1259902 tn?1269660681 Many people find life easier to deal with by consuming alcohol, self medicating. We all know this can be a slippery slope so you need to tread lightly with this. Since your anxiety gets worse after drinking....why drink? Panic attacks are not worth a couple of drinks in my opinion. Take care....
1084115 tn?1385228589 The fruitcakes were baked 6 weeks in advance, kept tightly wrapped in the refridgerator, and rum or some other alcohol was added daily and the fruitcakes were turned daily. Those fruitcakes were saturated with alcohol. Anyway, not to put a damper on things, but some baked goods with alcohol have the alcohol added after baking.
Avatar m tn I think I have finally had enough. After taking that pill last night and risking danger to my liver along with the alcohol I have decided to try to quit.
