1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.

Avatar f tn My strength training is 3x per week and my routine is 1 rep at the maximum weight with perfect form then 12 reps. at a lighter weight then 25 reps. lighter. this is done on machines so the only rest is when I place the pin in the next weight class. I then rest for 90 seconds and repeat this 2 more times.
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar f tn I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
1253246 tn?1332073310 He said he has a friend that was just hired by Vertex,and they are starting to hire more reps in the Atlanta area.He said they always do this right before a major NEW drug hits the market, that way Vertex can handle the overload.He said he is 99% sure they will be in market by June.He also said Vertex will target the big cities first.With the credentials that my dr has Im quite sure he has alot of connections and knows what hes talking about.Thought you all would like to know this!!!!!
Avatar f tn I lift heavy weights, I do my legs once a week. When i squat I use do 15 reps of 45 lbs, 15 reps of 55lbs, 12 reps 65lbs, 10 reps 75lbs and 8 reps of 95lbs.
1032715 tn?1315984234 My personal trainer at the gym is in shock this morning,he decided to do a strength test with me,on a leg press machine I was able to lift 400kg,We started at 240kg then went up in 20kg increments doing 8 reps at each,when I got to 380kg I did 4 reps and at 400kg I did 3 reps,he was so stunned he has taken photos of me lifting the weights.
Avatar f tn If using weights what I was told when I used a personal trainer that if you are upping 15-20 reps without straining they are too light. Make sure to do three reps as well. They are also many exercises you can do without even touching weights or resistance bands! Good luck, you got this! You can always pm me to talk more.

Avatar f tn The best is to research ur area and find 1 that don't have alot if reps in area. The fewer reps the better u have at getting customers. I sell scentsy and velata. Velata is some what new and there us not alot of reps and round at all. It's fondue warmers with 4 different kinds if chocolate and 4 different cheeses. Also has an indoor tabletop grill and 4 seasoning rubs for cooking! I'm 1 out of 2 that sell in my area, which is a plus!

Avatar m tn When I enter calf raises into the exercise tracker, it has a field for "reps"; however, I do not do calf raises in reps. I do endurance calf raises, where I hold the calf raise for as long as I can (currently 50 minutes), non-stop. What should I put in for reps, or should I put anything in that field at all? Also, before I found calf raises in the list of exercises in the settings, I used to enter it as "calf exercises".
7052037 tn?1389027909 What I do for each group is 6 reps at the maximum I can do perfect then move the pin to a lighter weight and do 12 reps then move the pin to a lighter weight and do 24 reps. rest for 90 seconds and repeat the set with the 90 second rest. for a total of 3 sets. The only rest I get doing each set is moving the pin to the next weight that takes about 1 second. As it gets easy I have been increasing the reps. I do strength first and cardio last.
Avatar n tn I have had several episodes of not being able to make it to the bathroom and have also wet the bed several times. My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.

Start at 15 and work your way up to 100 reps two times a day. * Hold and release: contract the muscle slowly and hold for 5 seconds, release slowly. Work your way to at least 25 reps two times a day. * Elevator: slowly contract 1/3 of the way, pause, then 2/3 of the way, pause, then all the way. Do 10 reps two times a day. Avatar m tn Maybe something like 1-arms, 2-legs, 3-chest/back, 4- shoulders- 5- run, then repeat. I do 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps, also doing a little abs everyday. Any suggestions/advice/constructive criticism would be much appreciated. I wanna be as muscular as possible but mainly tone/cut. I would like something I can continue for life. I eat pretty healthy/take protein powder 1-2 times a day already.
Avatar f tn I also love using the abductor and adductor for thighs. I start at 60lbs do 20 reps slowly, then drop to 50 and do 30 reps then drop to 40 and so 40 reps. So on and so forth until about 20lbs. Pilates is amazing as well by the way!! Good luck!!
Avatar n tn so I recently started trying to build muscle in march and bought dumbbells, right now I am lifting 15 lbs about 30 reps, wait 3 min, 25 reps, wait 3 min, 20 reps. I usually do this for like 30 min at the most in a day. I am wondering if this will ever give me results because so far I don't see any. Is there a wrong way to lift? Usually I keep top of my arm straight down and lift only forearm up all the way. Oh, when I try to switch to 20 pound dumbbells, it is too much for my wrists.
Avatar f tn The amt of calories burned is also hard to say as it depends on whether you are lifting low reps or fast reps. If you just started lifting you will gain weight since muscle weighs more than fat! I gained 10 lbs when I started back up! When I was younger I was a body builder, but now I just strength train! To get an idea of where you are, purchase a scale that has more than just weight readings, I have one that does my BMI, my water intake, my body fat content etc. This will keep you on track!

Avatar m tn Learn to increase resistance properly. Focus on reps before weight. If a set calls for eight reps, any weight where you can do six to 10 reps is the right amount. If you can do more, increase the weight; if you can't do six, drop back. Write down what you eat.
Avatar n tn t let your torso rotate (even though the cable pulls you sideways). Pause, and return to the starting position. Do 15 reps, switch sides, and repeat. That's 1 set. Do another set of 12, and a final set of 10. Rest 45 seconds between sets. Benefit: You're boosting the intensity and efficiency of a traditional crunch, and your abs have to work harder to prevent rotation.
