Enablex not working

Common Questions and Answers about Enablex not working

enablex

1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn can someone please tell that which medicine works best for OAB ........VESICARE,ENABLEX OR DETROL LA..........I m male and 29 yrs old ,can i also take detrol la.....Any response should be highly appreciated..........
Avatar f tn I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar n tn The uroligist put me on Enablex which has been working, and I am due to go back in two weeks......yesterday, I started feeling almost swelled up at the opening of the bladder.....I am embaressed to ask, is it possible that my bladder is dropping....it just doesn't feel right, and I don't know if I should just wait for the appointment at the uroligist, or call the gynecoligist?
Avatar f tn No not yet i have an app in a couple of days
Avatar m tn this when I had my post op Appt I never truely got an answer then I went back to her she gave me some Enablex that never truely help with the no sensation to urinate nor the having feeling when having sex can some one tell me what is going on?
Avatar n tn My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.
Avatar m tn Hi there. Sorry that you are going through this. I cannot advice on hyst.or not but I can tell you that I had severe endometriosis and had a complete hyst.2 yrs ago due to the pain and risk of organs twisting. I am currently taking 1mg of estradiol and Praise God it is working for me. My bladder is fine but the endo caused issues with urythra "not sure on spelling sorry" so I have to take enablex to avoid accidents. My doc told me before surgery that this was a possibilty.
Avatar f tn I love to work and find that I need structure in my life but, when do you know that you can't do it anymore? My bladder issues have become such a burden to me. Enablex causes problems for me so, I've opted to not continue it. I don't want to have surgery but I may eventually not have a choice. Sometimes I go every ten minutes and it is hard to get work done. I constantly have accidents and protection is sometimes not enough.
Avatar f tn he has done urodynamics and also looked into my bladder through scope and said that nothing is wrong with my bladder and urthera,he first gave me vesicare for a month than enablex but condition still remains the same ,then i went to another general phyisican he sent me for x-ray of my lower back, results came out negative.my urlogist told me to go to neurolgist...
Avatar m tn I had 3 hernias surgically repaired in January. I have not recovered to a comfortable, pain free life since that time. My surgeon told me I was abnormal (thanks) and sent me to a urologist. I have had an ultrasound on my testicles and a pelvic CT scan. These tests turned up nothing of note. For the past 6 weeks, I have been struggling to cope with a constant feeling to urinate. My doctor did a urinalysis and it came back negative. He put me on Enablex which has yet to help at all (2 wks. ago).
Avatar f tn You saying you are an impatient person does not mean diddly. Just because you are impatient does not mean the medication is going to work faster for you. The reality is because you are impatient, you need to find things to occupy your mind. Start an exercise program, practice meditation, get outside and chop some wood. Anything that is going to take you away from sitting in your house feeling sorry for yourself. Like I said, we have all been where you are.
290867 tn?1333569278 If what they are giving you to stop your contractions and that is not working but you are not dialting thats good. But if you cervival keeps shorting I would think they might put you on bedrest.
Avatar n tn I was prescribed zoloft 50 mg on the 16 it worked great I felt great now 10 days later not working so well I am starting to feel very sad again? does this mean it isn't the drug for me?
Avatar f tn I know it's not a magic pill, I am eating way less than before and better but just not losing weight. I know some people get an actual list of foods to eat from their doctor but all I was told was to eat my normal food just less of it. I work out 6days a week something I didn't do 2months ago and still not losing weight with exercise either. If anybody knows of something else I could do or try please let me know.
