You have normal sinus rhythm but it's fast? How fast? If it's consistently over 100, you should talk to your cardio about that. It's not normal or healthy. Your meds may need to be adjusted.

I feel like everything inside is really warm like I am taking a fat burner. I have read some of the side effects but it also states that it takes a few weeks for cardiac function to adjust to this med. I am still perplexed at how spontaneous the diagnosis happened without other testing to rule out anything else. I am probable asking the same question that has been asked more than it can be counted but who has experienced and did this pass and get better?

I have also had problems with swelling at the end or after coming off the stuff. I have talked with several other people who have had the bloathing last over a month after stopping the medicine.
I have found that drinking LOTS of water is helpful.

t compatable with your system and an adjustment may need to be made...common side effects are the dizziness and feeling tired however................shortness of breath is not one of them and if it were me i would call the doc after you read this to let them know about the SOB.....you want to make sure there are no clot issues happening and the three symptoms you posted are three of those that could happen.....i would just put my mind at ease and make the call now...
It is possible that you had no noticable side effects (especially if you are mild hypo), but being hypo long term can be damaging to your body. It sounds as though your body had a hard time adjusting to the Synthroid and you may need a lower dose.
I can say that the hair loss after starting the Synthroid may have been your body "catching up" from not loosing much hair while you were untreated.
Metoprolol is like the Tic-Tac of beta blockers. Lots of people take it with little aide effects. I take 75 milligrams per day, but have been on as high as 200 milligrams per day.The dose you have put yourself on is extremely small. Metoprolol's half life is approximately 5 hours. If you do the math, you will see there is very little left of the drug in your blood when you take your next dose.
