Hi po.. Newbie here.. my flight for UAE will be next month na po and wanna try my luck to look for a job in UAE. Ang pinag woworry ko lang po ay madeport incase na malaman nila na may hepa ako. Ngbabasa ako ng mga articles sa net at nakita ko na fr 6categories lang kasama ang test for hepab example mga nannies, waitress, babysitter and etc... Is it true po ba??? My doctor told me my problem is left ventricular fascicular tachycardia, which is an uncommon tachycardia. My tachycardia is very sensitive to Diltiazem (calcium channel blocker). The doctor tried Adenosine, but it never works. If they inject Diltiazem, my tachycardia would terminate immediately. My Mon had same problem when she was young. She had a few episodes when I was fetus, but she never had that problem again in the past 20 years.
Then comes Verapamil, which is a calcium channel blocker like Diltiazem. Perhaps is has something to do with the nature of how a Class IV anti-arrhythmic affects the cardiovascular system. It decreases or slows conduction through the AV node, and reduces the contractility of the heart, so it could be inappropriate in cases of heart failure. I believe that Diltiazem works on the reentrant type of SVT called AVNRT.
I was on it for medium high blood pressure for 5 years and finally stopped taking it because it had caused deep depression, not to feelings of suicide though. It seemed to build up, so be on the lookout for feelings of not caring and hopelessness. Now I'm on Verapamil and am doing OK except for the ankle swelling. Tried another CB'er (Cartia XT or Cardizem) and had the same edema effect.
I'm going to guess it depends on the individual and what other changes need to be made. Weight may need to come down, increase exercise, reduce sodium in the diet.
I'm on Diltiazem 120, a slow release so I only take it once a day. Haven't seen much change in my BP. Maybe 5 pts. in my readings at home. But it does help a little with my arrhythmias, has stopped the chest pains and helps with my Raynauds.
Although I said not to tolerate Verapamil, a doctor gave me another calcium blocker, Diltiazem, when I had atrial fibrillation. When I came home, I had to decrease the daily dose to half and then stop using it totally. Diltiazem made me weak (possibly low BP or pulse) and the rhythm became very variable. Doctors should be careful when prescribing calcium channel blockers.
By the way, my pulse pressure (in sinus rhythm) can vary between 14 and 130. What does this mean? Is this normal?

Na-unfit to work po kase ako dahil sa HBV at nagpaconsult ako sakanya and sabe niya kailangan ko pa ng ibang tests para magawan nia ako ng reccommendation na pede ako magwork. Na unfit to work po kase sa unang doctor n pnuntahan ko at snabe Acute ako at infectious, pagconsult ko kay Mr Cua sabe nia hndi naman dw ako acute kundi chronic, at baket dw ako unfit e wala ako HBVDNA result at baka d ko nmn kailangan ng treatment.

I am a 30 y/o female who was dx with psvt in july 2010. My svt was seen on a 48 hr event monitor and I had rates of 188 from simple activity such as climbing my steps. My EP/Cardio attempted an ablation on 7/15/10. They weren't able to sustain the svt long enough to ablate and discovered that my accesorry pathway is up against my SA node so I run the risk of needing a pacemaker if the svt is ablated.
Luckily non reactive po ako jan kaya fit to work po ako. Nabanggit din po ng doc nag examin sakin na meron paraan para po mabawasan ang count ng HBeAg. kaso po hindi na ko nag dig sa information dala ng excitement ko ng binalita nyang fit to work ako. if nasa manila po kayo try nyo po na mag pa consult sa health trends located at hobbies of asia macapagal. super kind po ng mga staff nila dun pati po yung pathologist na nag examin sakin. if may questions po kayo search nyo nlang po yung clinic.
