There are not very many big acne heads (I have benzoyl peroxide5%, Differin 3%, and Minocyclin 100 mg twice a day). These medications play a big part in my not having many big zits.
Anyways, I have lots of little acne heads all over. How effective is Accutane at getting rid of these heads and keeping them off? (from your experience or from official sources)

Do not use any alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide for 72 hours after the treatment. Also any scarubbing or acne soaps should be avoided for atleast 1 week after the miscrodermabrasion procedure.

I have suffered with extremely oily acne prone skin since I was a teenager-I'm now 42. What I use in the evening is Serious Skin Care's glycolic cleanser with dry hands and dry face, rinse, and then follow cleansing with the Daily Ritual Cleanser also by Serious Skin care with a wet face and hands. After cleansing with both cleansers I apply Nature's Cure for Females 5% benzoyl peroxide to my entire face. I also take the Nature's Cure pills AM and PM.
I had some folliculitis on both thighs, and I applied some benzoyl peroxide on Thursday to help clear it up. On Friday, in the exact areas where I applied the benzoyl peroxide, I now have a rash that has developed. Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide? I though it was my moisturizer(loreal for dry skin 48hrs) so I switched to different moisturizers (cetaphil/jojoba oil/almond oil) and that helped but there are still quite a few bumps. m n my 5th week now and for years I have been using proactive facewash, content s benzoyl peroxide and another acne ointment. Does it affect my pregnancy anyway.
